The dharma of the transference of life is impermanent, it is not permanent. Liberation is similar to this, it is not impermanent. That which is not impermanent is true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is that which possesses a solid essence. For example, sandalwood, candana, and agaru are solid by nature. Liberation is also similar to this, it is solid and stable by nature. That which is solid and stable by nature is true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is called non-hollow. For example, reeds and bamboo are hollow because their insides are empty. Liberation is not like that, therefore one should understand that liberation itself is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is called that which is not stained by anything. For example, if a wall is not plastered, insects and bees will dwell and multiply there. If it is plastered with mud and painted with designs, the insects will not stay because they smell the paint. Thus, not staining is liberation, and true liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is called boundless. For example, a city has boundaries, but liberation is not like that. For example, the sky is boundless. Liberation is also similar to this, it is boundless. Therefore, liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is called invisible. For example, in the empty sky, it is very difficult to see the tracks of birds. Very difficult to see is an example of true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is called extremely profound. Why is that? Because all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas cannot enter. Unable to enter is true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, extremely profound is called that which is cherished by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. For example, very devoted sons greatly cherish and respect their parents, and their merit is extremely profound.

Profound merit is an example of perfect liberation. Perfect liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation means invisibility. Just as people cannot see the crown of their heads, liberation is similar, invisible to all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Invisibility is perfect liberation. Perfect liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation means without place or support. Just as the sky has no place or support, liberation is similar. Place and support are examples of the twenty-five existences. Without place or support is perfect liberation. Perfect liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation means unobtainable. For example, the fruit of a mango is obtainable and graspable. Liberation is not like that; it is unobtainable and ungraspable. Unobtainable and ungraspable is perfect liberation. Perfect liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation means ungraspable. For example, illusion is ungraspable, and liberation is similar, ungraspable. Ungraspable is perfect liberation. Perfect liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation means without physical substance. For example, people have bodies, so they have scabies, leprosy, emaciation, madness, and so on. Perfect liberation does not have such diseases. The absence of those diseases is perfect liberation. Perfect liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation means one taste. Just as milk is one taste, liberation is similar, one taste. One taste is liberation. Perfect liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation means completely pure.
