It is the same. Liberation itself is the Thus-Gone One. Therefore, the Thus-Gone One is completely pure and without defilement. Furthermore, liberation means that all the wounds of outflows are completely and utterly extinguished without any remainder. The Thus-Gone One is also the same, without any wounds of outflows. Furthermore, liberation means without contention. For example, a hungry person, upon seeing food, becomes extremely attached. Liberation is not like that. Furthermore, liberation means bliss and peace. Base people say that great dominion is bliss and peace, but that word is false and not true. Truly bliss and peace is ultimate liberation. Ultimate liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is supreme bliss. For example, a place with many enemies is not bliss. A place without enemies is called supreme bliss. Liberation is also without fear, therefore it is called supreme bliss. Therefore, supreme bliss is truly liberation. Truly liberation is the Thus-Gone One. The Thus-Gone One is called Dharma. Furthermore, liberation means without equal. Without equal means, for example, kings are equal because they have equal lands. Liberation does not have such a thing. Without equal means, for example, a wheel-turning king has no equal. Liberation is also the same, without equal. Without equal is truly liberation. Truly liberation is the wheel-turning king of the Dharma of the Thus-Gone One. Therefore, the Thus-Gone One has no equal, there is no place called having an equal. Furthermore, liberation means without sorrow. Having sorrow means, for example, kings feel sorrow because they fear the invasion of enemies. Liberation does not have such a thing. For example, if all enemies are conquered, then he has no sorrow or doubt. Liberation is also the same, without sorrow or fear. Without sorrow or fear is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore,

Furthermore, what is called liberation is the absence of sorrow and aging. For example, if a woman's only son goes to a foreign land and dies, hearing the bad news will cause suffering due to sorrow. Later, hearing that he did not die, joy will arise immediately. In liberation, these things do not exist; the absence of sorrow and joy is true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, what is called liberation is the absence of dust and defilement. For example, in springtime, when the sun sets, wind and dust rise. In liberation, none of these things exist. The absence of dust is an example of true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. For example, the precious jewel worn on the crown of a Chakravartin king is without defilement. Liberation is also similar to that; there is no defilement. The absence of defilement is liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. For example, pure gold is not mixed with sand, so it is called a true jewel. If someone obtains it, they will perceive it as a source of wealth. Liberation itself is also like a true jewel; a true jewel is an example of true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. For example, breaking a pottery makes an unpleasant sound. But a precious vajra vase is not like that. In true liberation, there is also no unpleasant sound. A precious vajra vase is true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Therefore, the body of the Tathagata is indestructible. What is called an unpleasant sound is like this: when castor beans are dried in the hot summer sun, they make a sound because they are scorched by the sun. In liberation, these things do not exist; like a precious vajra vase, there is no unpleasant sound of breaking. Even if hundreds of thousands of countless people shoot arrows at once, it will not be destroyed, and there is no unpleasant sound of breaking. The absence of an unpleasant sound of breaking is true liberation. True liberation is

Such is the Thus Come One. For example, if a poor person incurs debt to others, they are seized, and tormented with iron chains, shackles, and fetters. In liberation, there is no such thing, and there is no debt. For example, a wealthy merchant possesses countless precious jewels, is endowed with power and authority, and has no debt. Liberation is also like that, endowed with many precious jewels of Dharma, possessing power and authority, so there is no debt. Having no debt is an example of true liberation. True liberation is the Thus Come One. Furthermore, what is called liberation is complete freedom from suffering. For example, in spring, one goes towards the heat of the sun, in summer, one eats sweetness, and in winter, one is touched by the cold. In true liberation, there is no such unpleasant thing. Complete freedom from suffering is true liberation. True liberation is the Thus Come One. Complete suffering is like this: if a person eats their fill of fish and meat and then drinks milk, that person is not far from death. In true liberation, there is no such thing. If that person finds a medicine like nectar, then that disease will also be cured. True liberation is also like that. What is called nectar medicine is true liberation. True liberation is the Thus Come One, so how can one speak of suffering and non-suffering for him? For example, those base and ignorant children, dominated by arrogance, think like this: among all sentient beings, no one can kill me, so they go to catch tigers, snakes, and venomous insects. Know that these base people are not far from the end of their lives, and they will die suddenly. In true liberation, there is no such thing. Complete freedom from suffering is like the wish-fulfilling jewel of a Chakravartin king, which can subdue ninety-six kinds of venomous insects, including bees. By merely smelling the fragrance of that wish-fulfilling jewel, all poisons disappear.
