If there is purity, there is no secret. Kāśyapa further reported: If I realize that the secret essence spoken by the Buddha Bhagavan in consideration does not exist, then, as the Bhagavan said, the great scripture is like the Tathagata who always abides, unchanging and unmoving, it is not feasible to say so. Why is that? In the past, the Bhagavan said this verse: If the Tathagata and the Pratyekabuddha, and the close dwelling of the Shravakas, abandon the impermanent body, what need to say about the lowly ordinary people? Having said that, what does it mean to say here that it is permanent, unchanging, and unmoving? The Bhagavan taught: I said that verse in order to show half a letter to all the close dwellings of the Shravakas. Son of good family, also, if King Shengjun did not die, the king was overwhelmed by grief, crying loudly, thinking in his heart where I should go, and then I came to the king and asked knowingly, why is the great king so sad and frustrated? The king replied: The great queen passed away today. If someone could bring my mother back to life, I would offer the throne, elephants, horses, seven treasures, and even my body and life. I said to the king: Great king, do not be troubled by sorrow. All sentient beings have the matter of exhausting their lifespan and dying. Buddhas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Shravakas also abandon their bodies, let alone lowly ordinary people? Son of good family, I said those half-letter verses in order to dispel the grief of that king. I am now showing the great scripture to the close dwellings of the Shravakas, the Tathagata is permanent, unchanging, and unmoving. Having said that, if someone says that the Tathagata is impermanent, why is his tongue not cut off? Kāśyapa further reported: Bhagavan, didn't you also say this in the verse? Nothing else, etc., also know the amount of food, like a bird flying in the sky, the trace is

No one can overcome it. What does this mean? World Honored One, what does it mean to say that nothing is "Sogs" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: sogs, to be verified, etc.) in this mandala? What is moderation in eating? Like a bird flying in the sky, leaving no trace, who is that? Where did he go? The World Honored One said to Light Protector: "Sogs" means precious jewels. Son of good family, there are two kinds of "Sogs": conditioned and unconditioned. Conditioned "Sogs" refers to the conduct of the Shravakas. Unconditioned "Sogs" refers to the conduct of the Tathagatas. Son of good family, there are also two kinds of Sangha: conditioned and unconditioned. Conditioned Sangha refers to the Shravakas. The Sangha of the Shravakas means without "Sogs". What is not "Sogs"? Slaves and maids, and illegal properties such as warehouses, rice, sesame, rapeseed, and large and small beans, etc., are not "Sogs". If someone says that the Tathagata allows holding slaves, maids, and workers, etc., then his tongue will become dumb. My Shravaka attendants are also called not "Sogs", and also called contentment. Those who are attached to food are called not knowing contentment, and those who are not attached to food are called knowing contentment. "Finding no trace" means approaching unsurpassed Bodhi. Although that person has gone as I said, there is no place to go. Light Protector asked again: Even the conditioned Sangha is not "Sogs", let alone the unconditioned Sangha? If it is said to the Tathagata, where would the Tathagata have "Sogs"? If it is said that "Sogs" means hiding or concealing, but the Tathagata is not stingy with Dharma teaching, so it cannot be said to be hiding. "Finding no trace" refers to Nirvana. In Nirvana, there are no sun, moon, stars, planets, cold, heat, wind, rain, birth, old age, sickness, death, nor the twenty-five existences, and it is free from sorrow, suffering, and afflictions.

The attainment of Nirvana is the unchanging and immutable eternal state of the Tathagata. Because of such causes and conditions, the Tathagata entered complete Nirvana under the Sala trees with the Great Nirvana. The Blessed One said: "The name 'Mahakashyapa' (འོད་སྲུང་ཆེན་པོ།) means that the nature itself is vast and extensive. For example, if a person can live for countless years, he is called a great man. If he dwells happily in the sacred Dharma, he is called the most excellent among men. The eight great men I have spoken of can be attained by one person alone, or they can be attained by all. If one person possesses all eight, he is called the supreme and most excellent. Nirvana means being free from the fault of wrongdoing. Son of good family, for example, if a person is struck by a poisoned arrow, he experiences great suffering from the pain. If he meets a skilled doctor, the doctor applies good medicine, and he is freed from the suffering of the pain and becomes very happy. That doctor also travels to villages, towns, and suburbs, healing all who are suffering from wounds and freeing them from suffering. Son of good family, the Tathagata is also like that. After attaining complete enlightenment and becoming the king of physicians, in Jambudvipa, for immeasurable kalpas, he heals sentient beings who are tormented by suffering, those who are wounded by the arrows of afflictions of desire, hatred, and ignorance, and who experience great suffering, with the Dharma medicine like the nectar of the Mahayana sutras. He shows the attainment of complete enlightenment to those who are tormented by the arrows of afflictions in other directions and places, and he also makes them live. Therefore, it is called the Great Nirvana. The Great Nirvana is the state of liberation. Wherever sentient beings are to be tamed, the Tathagata manifests his body there. Therefore, this profound and true meaning is also called the Great Nirvana." Then, Bodhisattva Mahakashyapa asked the Blessed One: "Blessed One, can the physicians of the world heal all the diseases of sentient beings?"
