སོ། །དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ནི་བདག་ཅག་གི་མཆོད་པ་འདི་བཞེས་ནས་ཡོངས་སུ་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདའོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ནས། དེ་དག་གི་ལུས་ཀྱི་བ་སྤུ་ཀུན་ལངས་ཏེ། ལུས་ཁྲག་གིས་རྒྱས་པ་ནི་མེ་ཏོག་པ་ལ་ཤ་ལྟ་བུར་གྱུར། མཆི་མས་ནི་མིག་གང་། སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཆེན་པོས་ནི་ཡིད་གདུངས་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། སོ་སོ་ནས་མཆོད་པའི་ཡོ་བྱད་བཤམས་པ་སྤོས་ཀྱི་ཤིང་དང་། རྒྱལ་མཚན་དང་། བ་དན་དང་། གདུགས་དང་། ཞལ་ཟས་རྣམས་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཤིང་རྟས་བསྐྱས་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་གང་ན་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་སྤྱི་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ནས་མཆོད་པའི་ཡོ་བྱད་བཤམས་པས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ལ་མཆོད་དེ། ལན་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དུ་བསྐོར་ནས་སྐད་ཕྱུང་སྟེ་ངུས་སོ། །ངུ་བའི་སྒྲས་གནམ་ས་ཡང་གཡོས་སོ། ། བྲང་རྡུང་ཞིང་ཆོ་ངེས་འདེབས་ཏེ། མཆི་མ་ཆར་བཞིན་དུ་ཟག་ནས། གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་འདི་སྐད་དུ་ཀྱི་ཧུད་ཀྱི་ཧུད་གྲོགས་པོ་དག་འཇིག་རྟེན་སྟོངས་སོ། །འཇིག་རྟེན་སྟོངས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་སྤྱན་སྔར་ལུས་བརྡབས་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བའི་སླད་དུ་བདག་ཅག་གི་མཆོད་པ་བཤམས་པ་ནང་གི་ཐ་མ་འདི་བཞེས་ཤིག་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དུས་མཁྱེན་པས་ཅང་མི་གསུང་སྟེ་མ་བཞེད་ནས། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ལན་གསུམ་གྱི་བར་དུ་གསོལ་ཀྱང་བཞེས་སུ་མ་གནང་ངོ་། །དགེ་བསྙེན་དེ་དག་བསམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་མ་གྱུར་ནས། མྱ་ངན་གྱིས་ཡིད་གདུངས་ཏེ། ཅང་མི་སྨྲ་བར་འཁོད་པ་དེ་ནི་དཔེར་ན་ཕ་མ་ཤིན་ཏུ་བྱམས་པའི་བུ་གཅིག་པ་གློ་ བུར་དུ་ནད་ཀྱིས་བཏབ་སྟེ་ཚེ་འཕོས་ནས་དུར་དུ་བསྐྱལ་ཏེ། ཤིན་ཏུ་མྱ་ངན་གྱིས་ཡིད་གདུངས་པ་དང་འདྲ་བར་དགེ་བསྙེན་དེ་དག་མྱ་ངན་གྱིས་ཡིད་གདུངས་པ་ཡང་དེ་དང་འདྲ་སྟེ། མཆོད་པའི་ཡོ་བྱད་རྣམས་གནས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བཞག་ནས། ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་ཅང་མི་སྨྲ་བར་འཁོད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ། གཞན་ཡང་ཀླུང་གང་གཱ་གསུམ་གྱི་བྱེ་མ་སྙེད་ཀྱི་དགེ་བསྙེན་མ་ཁྲིམས་ལྔ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྲུང་བ། སྤྱོད་ལམ་དང་ལྡན་པ་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། དགེ་བསྙེན་མ་འཚོ་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་། དགེ་བསྙེན་མ་དཔལ་གྱི་ཕྲེང་བ་དང་། དགེ་བསྙེན་མ་བྱི་ཤ་ཀ་ལ་སོགས་པས་ཐོག་མར་དྲངས་ནས་དགེ་བསྙེན་མ་བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་བཞི་སྟོང་སྙེད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པ། སེམས་ཅན་ཚད་མེད་པ་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་གདུལ་བའི་ཕྱིར་བུད་མེད་ཀྱི་ལུས་སུ་སྟོན་ཅིང་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ཆོས་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨོད་པ། བདག་གི་ལུས་ལ་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པ་བཞི

索！如来想到“如果接受我们的供养，就会完全进入涅槃”，他们全身的汗毛都竖立起来，身体因血而充盈，就像花上的肉一样。眼泪盈满了眼睛，巨大的痛苦煎熬着内心。各自陈设供养的物品，用珍宝车运载香木、胜幢、幡、伞和食物，前往佛所在之处。到达后，他们以头顶礼佛足，陈设供养的物品，供养如来。成百上千次地绕佛，放声痛哭。哭声震动天地。他们捶胸顿足，哀号不已，眼泪如雨般落下。他们互相说道：“唉！唉！朋友们，世界要毁灭了！世界要毁灭了！”说完，他们倒在如来面前，向世尊祈请道：“如来啊，为了慈悲，请接受我们陈设的最后供养吧！”世尊知晓时机，一言不发，没有接受。他们这样祈请了三次，世尊都没有应允。那些居士因为没有如愿，内心充满悲伤，默默地坐着，就像父母极其疼爱的独子突然被疾病夺去生命，被送到坟墓里一样，内心充满了悲伤。那些居士们内心充满的悲伤也像这样。他们把供养的物品放在一个地方，然后默默地坐在一旁。当时，还有如三条恒河沙数般多的，完全守护五戒的，行为端正的优婆夷，比如：优婆夷寿命功德，优婆夷吉祥鬘，优婆夷毗舍佉等等为首，八万四千优婆夷全部都受持正法，为了调伏无量百千众生而示现女身，完全呵斥居家之法，视自己的身体如同四条毒蛇。

So! Thinking, "If the Tathagata accepts our offerings, he will completely enter Nirvana," all the hairs on their bodies stood on end. Their bodies were filled with blood, like flesh on a flower. Tears filled their eyes, and great suffering tormented their hearts. Each of them prepared offerings, carrying incense wood, victory banners, flags, umbrellas, and food in jeweled carts, and went to where the Buddha was. Upon arriving, they bowed their heads at the Buddha's feet, presented the offerings, and made offerings to the Tathagata. They circumambulated the Buddha hundreds and thousands of times, crying out loud. The sound of their weeping shook the heavens and the earth. They beat their chests and wailed, tears falling like rain. They said to each other, "Alas! Alas! Friends, the world is coming to an end! The world is coming to an end!" Having said this, they collapsed before the Tathagata and pleaded with the Blessed One, saying, "Tathagata, for the sake of compassion, please accept this last of our prepared offerings!" The Blessed One, knowing the time, remained silent and did not accept. Even though they pleaded in this way three times, the Blessed One did not grant their request. Those lay practitioners, not having their wishes fulfilled, were filled with sorrow and sat silently. It was like a beloved only child of parents suddenly struck by illness, passing away, and being taken to the grave, their hearts filled with sorrow. The sorrow that filled the hearts of those lay practitioners was also like that. They placed the offerings in one place and then sat silently to one side. At that time, there were also as many female lay practitioners as there are grains of sand in three Ganges Rivers, who fully observed the five precepts and were endowed with proper conduct. These included the female lay practitioner Life Merit, the female lay practitioner Auspicious Garland, the female lay practitioner Visakha, and so on, leading a total of eighty-four thousand female lay practitioners, all of whom upheld the sacred Dharma. They manifested in female bodies to tame countless hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, completely denouncing the Dharma of household life, and regarding their own bodies as four poisonous snakes.
