For the sake of making prostrations, for the sake of serving and honoring, for the sake of asking questions, and for the sake of completely asking questions. The Blessed One said: Manjushri, how does the viewing of the Tathagata become extremely pure? How does one make prostrations to the Tathagata? How does one serve and honor? How does one ask questions? How does one completely ask questions? Manjushri replied: Blessed One, when the seeing of the Dharma is extremely pure, such is the seeing of the Tathagata as extremely pure. Blessed One, when one does not make prostrations with body and mind, does not make great prostrations and there is no action, abiding without timidity, having attained immovability, practicing in a state of mental solitude, possessing mindfulness and acting with awareness, such is making prostrations to the Tathagata. Blessed One, when one does not cling to self, does not cling to others, does not make equality in equality, does not make inequality in inequality, and there is no action, no fabrication, also becoming of one conduct with the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, following the body of the Buddha and the Dharmakaya, seeing that one's body also follows the Dharmadhatu, not seeing seeing in seeing, not seeing wrongly, not becoming distant in anything, not becoming near, such is serving and honoring the Tathagata. Blessed One, when it is not according to the proper way, then it is not the proper way, when one asks questions according to the proper way, not according to the proper way, not seeing anything, following the proper way of all Dharmas with my proper way, not with a distracted mind, but asking questions with equanimity, what is asked, and for what is asked, and to whom is asked, seeking that in the three times, and asking questions with the purity of the three spheres, such is asking questions of the Tathagata. Blessed One, when one does not perceive what is asked, acting in accordance with what is said, pleasing the Tathagata, pleasing all the retinue, not being attached to asking questions, with that asking questions

Also, let immeasurable sentient beings don the armor of Bodhi, and moreover, this armor will not be abandoned until it reaches the essence of Bodhi. Such is how to make a complete request to the Tathagata. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Light Crest praised Manjushri Kumara, saying, "Well done!" Manjushri, one should thus behold the Tathagata, thus pay homage, thus serve and honor, thus make requests, thus make complete requests. What you have said is well spoken, well done, well done! Then, Manjushri Kumara said to the great Shravaka Wisdom Lamp, "Venerable one, how do you see the Tathagata? How do you pay homage? How do you serve and honor? How do you make requests? How do you make complete requests?" He replied, "Manjushri, such teachings are not within the realm of us Shravakas who follow the voices of others." Question: "Then, by realizing what, is the mind of the Venerable Wisdom Lamp liberated?" Answer: "Manjushri, by realizing the truth, the mind is liberated." Question: "Venerable one, what meaning will the so-called truth reveal?" Answer: "Manjushri, to distinguish well without any antidote is the truth." Question: "Then, how is the mind of the Venerable one liberated by realizing the truth?" Answer: "Manjushri, relying on convention, I speak thus, but it is not so in ultimate truth." Question: "Do convention and ultimate truth coincide?" Answer: "If they do not coincide, then ultimate truth is not established." Question: "Then, how do you speak relying on convention, but it is not so in ultimate truth? If convention and ultimate truth coincide, then in the ultimate truth, would it not become only one truth?" Answer: "Manjushri, if one hears this teaching, then the newly initiated Bodhisattvas will become frightened." Question: "If even you, venerable one, are frightened, what need is there to mention the newly initiated Bodhisattvas? Answer: "Manjushri, I cannot cause fear." Question: "Venerable one, is it not fearing, or weary?
