This great heap of suffering will cease entirely, and this will surely be the true realization of entering the unconditioned. In this case, the cessation of ignorance is not past, not future, and not occurring in the present. However, ignorance arises because of improper attention. If one attends properly, with individual wisdom, it will not arise. Non-arising is the ultimate cessation, therefore it is called the cessation of ignorance. In this case, proper attention means contemplating this realm arising from the four great elements in this way: this body is matter, appearing like grass, trees, walls, and stones, and should be individually understood. That which is called mind, intellect, or consciousness is also formless, invisible, unimpeded, unknowable, like illusions and dreams, and cannot be discerned as being inside, outside, or both. A monk who diligently engages in such proper attention will realize that all phenomena are unborn in their own nature, and that which is unborn is the ultimate truth. When this teaching was taught, those two hundred monks, without attachment, had their minds liberated from all defilements. Then, the son of the naked ascetic, Satyaka, whose retinue had diminished, quarreled with five hundred servants and went to Prince Jetavana's grove, the Jetavana Vihara of Anathapindika, the gardener's hut in the reed grove, and where the Blessed One was. Having arrived, he engaged in various pleasant, joyful, and delightful conversations with the Blessed One, and then said to the Blessed One: 'O Gautama, the ascetic Gautama lures away the retinues of others by deception, I have heard many times. Now this has become evident, just as this young Manjushri has split my retinue and offered it to the ascetic Gautama. The ascetic Gautama has also taken them with wrong views, so they will no longer come to me, do not respectfully serve, do not listen attentively, and do not pay attention to understanding everything.' At that time, a wandering ascetic named Chandra

Wandering at all the boundaries of ink, the one named Victorious Intellect, having gathered in that retinue and abiding there, spoke thus to the son of the naked mother, the Truthful One: "Son of the naked mother, the Truthful One, do not disbelieve in the Bhagavan (Sanskrit: Bhagavān, Devanagari: भगवान्, Romanization: bhagavān, literal Chinese meaning: World Honored One), the hearers of the Bhagavan, and Manjushri, the youth. For a long time, you will become meaningless, unprofitable, painful, and fallen. Naked one, I dare to give an example. Naked one, for example, a person with the nature of a child, with a corrupt intellect, desiring the essence of ghee and seeking ghee, pours water into a pot and churns it, no matter how meaningless and deprived he becomes, he will not find ghee or the essence of ghee through that. Naked one, similarly, all the strange things of outsiders, yoga, meditation, asceticism, and vows, are all wrong views. I say, they are like churning a pot of water. If one harbors malice towards the Dharma and Discipline spoken by the Tathagata, sentient beings will fall into the abyss of hell. Naked one, for example, a person with a wise nature, endowed with intelligence, desiring the essence of ghee and seeking ghee, pours milk into a pot and churns it, he will effortlessly extract the essence of ghee, obtain ghee from the essence of ghee, and obtain the essence of ghee from ghee. Naked one, similarly, whether one remains at home or goes forth, if one has faith and strong desire in this Dharma and Discipline spoken by the Tathagata, one will practice, strive, and exert effort, just as one obtains the essence of ghee from a pot of milk desiring ghee, they will quickly obtain the liberation of the noble ones. Naked one, for example, if a person places a hundred or a thousand vessels made of clay made by a second person, and gives that many jewel vessels, naked one, what do you think? Did that person deceive that person? He said: Victorious Intellect, no. He said: Naked one, similarly, made of clay

Having subdued the heretical Shravakas who are like containers of the earth, if the Tathagata's teachings are made into a vessel of precious Dharma, then no heretics will be deceived by it. The naked ones are like this: for example, a captain who is not skilled in means, with his arrogance, leads many merchants into the wrong path. But a captain who is skilled in means, knows the path, and sees the path, turns them away from that wrong path and leads them into the right path. Similarly, naked ones, all six of your teachers do not know the path, are not skilled in the path, and they have led you many sentient beings into the wrong path. The Tathagata knows the path, is skilled in the path, and he turns those sentient beings away from that wrong path and leads them into the right path. Naked one, even so, lead your entourage away! Then again, twenty thousand naked ones went away with Satyaka, the son of the naked woman. The rest attained supernormal knowledge, and they were ordained by the Blessed One with the words, "Bhikkhu, come!" Then the Blessed One said to the wandering Gyalwai Lodro: "Gyalwai Lodro, have you seen those twenty thousand naked ones who went away with Satyaka, the son of the naked woman?" He replied: "Blessed One, I have seen them." The Blessed One said: "Gyalwai Lodro, all of them will be included in the first assembly of the Tathagata Maitreya. Why is that? Because they have heard the profound Dharma that has been taught. Satyaka, the son of the naked woman, is like my disciple Shariputra now, and he will become the foremost in wisdom among the Shravaka disciples in the teachings of the Tathagata Maitreya. Why is that? Because he has a strong desire to hear the Dharma, but because of excessive pride, he will not completely abandon his views." Then the wandering Gyalwai Lodro said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: "Manjushri, in the future, in the last five hundred years of the last age, how many arrogant monks will there be?" Manjushri replied:
