Because of the absence of inherent nature, one does not recognize that as nirvana. Here, there is neither samsara nor nirvana. What is this forbearance that is not contradictory? To be attached to the display and establishment of the four truths is the very place of contradiction. In the ultimate truth, there is no establishment of the four truths, and this is not contradictory. The conforming cause of the path and the attainment of the fruit are two. What is the duality is contradictory. Because of the equality of the path, the equality of all dharmas is non-dual. What is non-dual is not contradictory. As long as there is clinging to self and clinging to what belongs to self, there is manifest pride. As long as there is manifest pride, there is contradiction. Not diminishing, not increasing, not equating with equality, not equating with inequality, non-agent, non-creator, is without manifest pride. Whoever is without excessive pride is not contradictory. What is not contradictory is non-dual. With this in mind, the Blessed One also said: 'I do not contend with the world, the world contends with me.' Why? The Tathagata has cut off the root of contention. What is the root of contention that the Tathagata has cut off? It is saying, 'This is true, this is false.' The Blessed One also taught: 'Brahmin, what is called the word of truth? Why then speak of falsehood? Where there is neither equal nor unequal, who would stir up strife?' Then, the youth Manjushri, by the power of his miraculous abilities, blessed all the paths where those monks went, filling them entirely with fire. Wherever they went, they saw those places filled with fire, and they could not cross the fire pile. They flew into the sky by the power of their miraculous abilities, but they saw iron nets covering the entire expanse of the sky. Looking down, they saw a great mass of water.

Having seen, those people were disoriented, and their pores made a noisy sound. If one looked at the path to the King Victorious Garden, it was covered with Utpala flowers, lotuses, water lilies, and white lotuses. From that path, many beings were seen going to listen to the Dharma from the Blessed One. Having seen this, they also returned and went to the King Victorious Garden, the Anathapindika's grove, the bamboo grove's surrounding courtyard, and where the Blessed One was. Having arrived, they bowed their heads to the Blessed One's feet, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, and sat to one side. Having sat to one side, I said to them, 'O long-lived ones, where are you going? Where are you coming from?' They said, 'O long-lived one, we are Arhats, those who have exhausted defilements, attained meditative absorption, and reached the other shore of the miraculous feet. Having heard this Manjushri Kumara teaching unsuitable Dharma, we rose from our seats and went, and we saw this entire Buddha-field filled with fire, and we were unable to cross that pile of fire.' I asked the Blessed One, 'Where is the ground of the Arhats, those who have exhausted defilements?' The Blessed One said to me, 'O long-lived one, whoever indulges in the fire of desire, hatred, and ignorance cannot cross the pile of fire; that is not a place of refuge. Obscured by the net of views, one cannot cut the iron net; having entered the water of craving, one cannot cross the pile of water; that is not a place of refuge.' Why is that? Because, O long-lived one, just as these monks indulge in the fire of desire, hatred, and ignorance, they cannot cross the great pile of fire. They are obscured by the net of views and cannot cut the iron net. They have entered the water of craving and cannot cross the pile of water. O long-lived one, just like that pile of fire, that iron net, that pile of water, all those dharmas have not come from anywhere, nor have they gone anywhere. Furthermore, it is the blessing of Manjushri Kumara.

It appears through the earth. Just like desire, hatred, and ignorance, as well as the views held, and the craving for existence, these dharmas have not come from anywhere, nor have they gone anywhere. Otherwise, from the perverted and confused prior conceptualizations, various conceptualizations, and complete conceptualizations, arise the imputation of self and other, which are without a master, without a self, and without anything to be grasped. To this, the yogi, practicing yoga, makes the distracted mind one-pointed. Having made the mind one-pointed, they destroy and cultivate. With the assembly of calm abiding, they generate dhyana (meditation). Having attained dhyana, they do not become arrogant, nor do they become attached. With a mind made capable through dhyana, they also observe the dharmas, contemplating what dharma becomes the cause and condition for what. When distinguishing these individually, they also distinguish them as they truly are. For example, due to the condition of ignorance, actions arise; due to the condition of actions, consciousness arises; due to the condition of consciousness, name and form arise; due to the condition of name and form, the six sense sources arise; due to the condition of the six sense sources, contact arises; due to the condition of contact, feeling arises; due to the condition of feeling, craving arises; due to the condition of craving, grasping arises; due to the condition of grasping, becoming arises; due to the condition of becoming, birth arises; due to the condition of birth, old age and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, and disturbance arise. Thus, this great mass of suffering will arise; this is called the path of wrongly accomplished action. When ignorance ceases, actions cease. When actions cease, consciousness ceases. When consciousness ceases, name and form cease. When name and form cease, the six sense sources cease. When the six sense sources cease, contact ceases. When contact ceases, feeling ceases. When feeling ceases, craving ceases. When craving ceases, grasping ceases. When grasping ceases, becoming ceases. When becoming ceases, birth ceases. When birth ceases, old age and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, and disturbance all cease. Thus
