应当认识到这是业，不要受其支配。世尊说道：朋友们，我再三用言语告诫你们，要谨慎啊！以后众生在地狱中煎熬时，就会后悔了。然后，世尊在那时说了这些偈颂：我已示现了许多经部的国王，为了菩提安置了许多众生，我也已经示现了成佛之理，听闻之后也要谨慎啊！你们在未来极度毁灭之时，会堕入邪道啊！对于这部经，谁若恒常信奉，那 निश्चित是我的儿子。对于这部经，谁若恒常供养，那 निश्चित会生于佛土。无论哪一方，这部经部的国王所在之处，那里，鬼神、夜叉、罗刹和饿鬼、食粪鬼、大腹行鬼和行刑者、诅咒者都无法侵扰。那一切愿望都将圆满，那也将安乐地证得菩提。当时，四大天王听了这些偈颂后，因佛法的力量而流下眼泪，身体颤抖着，顶礼世尊的足下，对世尊说道：世尊，我们四大天王将供养说法者，也将守护听法者。世尊，无论是谁书写这部法门的篇章，或者请人书写，或者受持，或者读诵，或者完全理解，以及用衣服和珍宝供养说法者，我们也将守护他们，也将完全守护他们的国土，也将赐予一切财物和粮食，像独子一样完全守护，在一切战争中也将前往前方，在一切 राज权中也将极度尊敬，我们将报答如来的恩德，绝不忘恩负义。世尊，无论是谁听闻这部法门的篇章而不供养，也不供养说法者。

One should recognize that this is karma and not be controlled by it. The Blessed One said: Friends, I admonish you again and again with words, be mindful! Later, when sentient beings are tormented in hell, they will regret it. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke these verses: I have shown many kings of the Sutra Pitaka, and have placed many sentient beings in Bodhi. I have also shown the way to Buddhahood. Having heard this, be mindful! You will fall into evil paths when the future is utterly destroyed! Whoever always believes in this Sutra, that is certainly my son. Whoever always makes offerings to this Sutra, that will certainly be born in a Buddha-field. Wherever this king of the Sutra Pitaka is located, there, ghosts, yakshas, rakshasas, and hungry ghosts, dung-eating ghosts, great belly-walking ghosts, executioners, and cursers cannot prevail. All wishes will be fulfilled, and one will attain Bodhi in peace. At that time, the Four Great Kings, having heard these verses, shed tears because of the power of the Dharma, and with trembling bodies, prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One, and said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, we, the Four Great Kings, will make offerings to the Dharma speaker, and will also protect the Dharma listeners. Blessed One, whoever writes this chapter of the Dharma, or asks others to write it, or upholds it, or recites it, or fully understands it, and also makes offerings to the Dharma speaker with clothes and jewels, we will also protect them, and will also fully protect their country, and will also bestow all wealth and grain, and will fully protect them like an only child, and will also go forward in all battles, and will also highly respect them in all kingdoms. We will repay the kindness of the Tathagata, and will never be ungrateful. Blessed One, whoever hears this chapter of the Dharma and does not make offerings, nor make offerings to the Dharma speakers.

That action makes us uneasy. Then, the Blessed One gave the four great kings the word "Good!" and said: Great kings, good! good! Great kings, you do well, always do so. Then, the great গন্ধর্ব king Dhṛtarāṣṭra touched the feet of the Blessed One with his head and said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, in the future, in the future time, there will be sentient beings who practice unwholesome deeds, who do not believe in the Tathāgata, and who do not understand the profound meaning. They will not uphold such a category of Dharma, they will not recite it, they will not write it down, they will not give alms, they will not believe in the ripening of the fruits of giving, and they will only look to the happiness of this world. For the sake of those sentient beings, this great king of sūtras, which is like the Tathāgata, has been spoken. The Blessed One said: Son of good family, two dharmas cause sentient beings to fall into hell. Which two? Desire and hatred. Son of good family, these two dharmas cause sentient beings to fall into hell. Son of good family, these four dharmas cause one to go to a good destination. Which four? They are: having equanimity towards all sentient beings, having completely pure thoughts, completely giving up all possessions, and abiding in pure conduct. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke these verses: Great king, this giving has great miraculous power, it completely liberates from all bad destinies and bad migrations. Foolish sentient beings are always attached to desires, they are intoxicated by hundreds of various attachments. They do not believe in this sūtra, and they do not give alms to the Buddha's teachings. Such sentient beings will be in bad destinies, and after being born, they will also experience suffering. For the benefit of those sentient beings, this great and powerful sūtra has been thoroughly taught. Whoever always believes in this sūtra, he has no executioner, no evildoer, no pot-bellied ghost, no large-bellied ghost, the king will not do evil to him, he is good at asking questions, and he is happy to hear,

以及，对于善加受持的福德，诸佛以智慧赞叹，一切众生多劫也无法述说。 那些恒常忆念诸佛菩萨，并且进行供养的人们，以及其他一些人，如果从这部经中，哪怕仅仅书写一个字，那么他所获得的福德，是之前所说福德的百千倍也无法比拟的。 之后，圣观自在菩萨摩诃萨向薄伽梵请示道： 世尊，无论是善男子还是善女子，如果对这部法门生起信心，以鲜花、焚香、熏香、花鬘、涂香、伞盖、幢幡等进行供养，以及对说法者、提问者、受持者以盛大的供养来供奉，那么他们在今生就能获得许多功德和利益，他们的身体不会受到眼病、耳病、鼻病、舌病、瘟疫、毒药、兵器和火焰的侵害。 他们的父母会感到欣慰，子女和妻子会感到欣慰，家庭也会感到幸福。 在一切战争中都能获胜。 临终时，不动如来会给予正确的呼吸，并说： 喂，你过来！ 去往极乐世界吧！ 大丈夫你拥有燃烧的善根，将转生到你所希望的地方。 这样说道。 之后，观自在菩萨再次向薄伽梵请示道： 世尊，太好了，太好了！ 如来将此法安置于阎浮提，是为了成办如来的事业。 世尊，这个伟大的明咒能够完全净化一切业障。 薄伽梵开示道： 善男子，此法不会在福德浅薄的众生之处流传。 福德浅薄的众生不会听闻，也不会得到。 凭借佛陀的加持力，谁能得到它呢？

And, whatever merit there is in holding it well, that which the Buddhas praise with wisdom, all sentient beings cannot express it in many kalpas. Those who constantly remember the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and make offerings to them, and some others, if they write even a single letter from this sutra, then the merit they obtain cannot be compared to even a hundred thousand parts of the previous merit. Then, the noble Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva Mahāsattva said to the Bhagavan: O Bhagavan, whichever son of good family or daughter of good family has faith in this Dharma discourse, and offers flowers, incense, perfume, flower garlands, unguents, parasols, banners, and flags, and those who preach the Dharma, and those who ask questions, and those who hold it, with great offerings, they will obtain many qualities and benefits in this very life, and their bodies will not be harmed by eye diseases, ear diseases, nose diseases, tongue diseases, epidemics, poisons, weapons, and fire. Their parents will be pleased, their children and wives will be pleased, and their families will be happy. They will be victorious in all battles. At the time of death, the Tathāgata Akshobhya will give them the right breath, and say: Hey, come here! Go to the happy realm of Sukhāvatī! Great being, you have burning roots of virtue, and you will be born in the places you desire. Thus he will say. Then, Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva again said to the Bhagavan: O Bhagavan, well done, well done! The Tathāgata has placed this in Jambudvīpa to accomplish the work of the Tathāgata. O Bhagavan, this great mantra can completely purify all karmic obscurations. The Bhagavan said: Son of good family, this will not be practiced in the land of beings with little merit. Beings with little merit will not hear it, nor will they obtain it. By the power of the Buddhas, who will obtain it?
