It is the same. Monks, thereafter, the Brahma abodes in those fifty billion hundred thousand myriads of worlds in the upper direction became exceedingly beautiful, bright and radiant, endowed with glory and splendor. Monks, those great Brahmas thought to themselves: "These Brahma abodes have become exceedingly beautiful, bright and radiant, endowed with glory and splendor. Whose omen will this be?" Monks, thereafter, all the great Brahmas dwelling in those fifty billion hundred thousand myriads of worlds spoke to each other from their respective abodes. Monks, thereafter, the great Brahma named Crested One spoke in verse to that great assembly of Brahmas: "Friends, what is the cause of this? What pervades all the abodes? What is the cause of this great flourishing, with light, color, and flame? Such a thing we have never seen before. No one has ever heard of such a thing before. Today, light pervades this place in this way. What is the cause of this great beauty? Is it that a son of the gods, endowed with virtuous deeds, has come here today? Is this the power of that one who has come? Or has a Buddha, with a hundred merits, appeared in the world?" Monks, thereafter, all the great Brahmas dwelling in those fifty billion hundred thousand myriads of worlds gathered together, entered their respective Brahma abodes, took up handfuls of divine flowers the size of Mount Meru, and walked and went in the four directions, going to the lower direction. Monks, thereafter, those great Brahmas in the lower direction saw the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, subduing all with the great wisdom of superknowledge, having gone to the supreme and sacred essence of enlightenment, sitting on a lion throne under the Bodhi tree, being completely [revered] by gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and non-humans.

Having circumambulated and looked ahead, they saw the sixteen young princes requesting the turning of the Dharma wheel. Having seen this, they went to where the Blessed One was, and upon arriving, they bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, and circumambulated the Blessed One hundreds of thousands of times. They scattered heaps of flowers the size of Mount Meru upon the Blessed One, scattering them up to ten yojanas around the Bodhi tree. They also offered the Brahma palaces to the Blessed One, saying, "Blessed One, out of compassion for us, please accept these Brahma palaces. Sugata, out of compassion for us, please make use of these Brahma palaces." Thus they requested. Monks, after that, those Great Brahmas offered their respective Brahma palaces to the Blessed One, and at that time, they praised the Blessed One with verses that were similar to this: In the three realms, beings, Whoever liberates from bondage, The protector of the world, the savior, It is good to see the Buddhas. The lord of the world, with eyes everywhere, Seeing in all ten directions, Having opened the gate of immortality, Liberating many beings. In the past, immeasurable eons, Those who have passed away are empty, Not seeing the victorious lord, The ten directions have become blind. Terrible beings in hell, Asuras and animals increase in birth, Hundreds of thousands of millions of beings, Will be born in the realms of pretas. Gods and humans decline from their bodies, Dying and transmigrating to evil realms, Not hearing the Dharma of the Buddhas, Therefore, beings become sinful. The conduct of all beings is pure, The wisdom of the lineage has declined, Their happiness is completely extinguished, The perception of happiness is extinguished. They practice wrong rituals, Abiding in non-Dharma teachings, Not subdued by the protector of the world, They fall into evil realms. The lamp of the virtuous world, Appears after a very long time, For the sake of all beings, Compassion arises here. The Buddha's supreme wisdom, Joyful and supremely blissful.

Accomplished. O world with gods, We rejoice after you. Lord, by your power, Immeasurable palaces are so glorious. We offer to you, great hero. Please accept, great Sage. For the sake of compassion for us, Please fully utilize guidance. May we and all sentient beings, Touch the supreme Bodhi. Monks, then those great Brahmas, having praised the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, who overwhelms with the great light of superknowledge, before him with similar verses, prayed to the Bhagavan thus: Bhagavan, please turn the wheel of Dharma in the world! Bhagavan, please explain Nirvana! Bhagavan, please liberate all sentient beings! Bhagavan, please take care of these worlds! Bhagavan, please preach the Dharma to the world including gods, demons, and Brahmas, and to all beings including ascetics and Brahmins, and to those including gods, humans, and asuras! This will benefit many beings, bring happiness to many beings, have compassion for the world, and be for the benefit, medicine, and happiness of most beings, gods, and humans. Monks, then fifty billion nayutas of great Brahmas spoke in one voice, offering these similar verses to the Bhagavan: Please turn the supreme and excellent wheel! Please beat the drum of immortality! Please liberate sentient beings from hundreds of sufferings! Please show the path to Nirvana! Please speak the Dharma as we request, And take care of this world and us. Please utter those sweet and pleasant sounds, Accumulated over billions of kalpas! Monks, then the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, who overwhelms with the great light of superknowledge, assented to the prayer made by those countless billions of nayutas of Brahmas and those sixteen young princes.
