You should strive for (Buddhahood). O sentient beings, these vehicles are praised by the noble ones, and are endowed with great joy. You should play and rejoice without being stingy, and engage in joy and happiness. You will fully experience great joy through the faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, meditation, liberation, samadhi, and equipoise. It is said that you will also possess great bliss and mental ease. Shariputra, those sentient beings who become wise will develop genuine trust in the Tathagata, the father of the world. Having developed genuine trust, they will also strive in the teachings of the Tathagata. Among them, some sentient beings who wish to follow the voices of others, strive in the teachings of the Tathagata in order to completely liberate themselves from suffering and to comprehend the Four Noble Truths. They desire the Hearer Vehicle and are said to arise from the three realms, just as some children desire a deer cart and come out from a burning house. Other sentient beings who desire wisdom without a teacher, dwelling in taming and peace, strive in the teachings of the Tathagata in order to completely liberate themselves from suffering and to fully comprehend causes and conditions. They desire the Solitary Buddha Vehicle and are said to arise from the three realms, just as some children desire a goat cart and come out from a burning house. Furthermore, some sentient beings who desire the wisdom of omniscience, the wisdom of the Buddha, self-arisen wisdom, and wisdom without a teacher, strive in the teachings of the Tathagata for the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, for compassion towards the world, for the benefit and happiness of gods, humans, and many ordinary people, for the complete liberation of all sentient beings from suffering, and to comprehend the wisdom, power, and fearlessness of the Tathagata. Shariputra, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is like this. For example, from a burning house, some children want an ox cart and come out. Shariputra, just like that, for example, that person sees those young people coming out of the burning house, safely and smoothly escaping, knowing they have no fear, and knowing that he himself has a lot of wealth, like giving those children a huge cart. Shariputra, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha is also like this, countless beings completely liberated from the three realms filled with suffering, fear, panic, and anxiety, come out from the gate of the Tathagata's teachings, completely liberated from the harm of fear, panic, and anxiety, and sees that they have attained the bliss of Nirvana. Shariputra, at that time, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha knows that he possesses the treasures of wisdom, power, and fearlessness, understands that they are all his children, and causes all these beings to completely enter Nirvana by means of the Buddha's vehicle, without separately speaking of his own Nirvana to any being, but causing all these beings to completely enter Nirvana by means of the Tathagata's Nirvana, by means of the great Nirvana. Shariputra, those beings who have been liberated from the three realms, the Tathagata also gives them meditation, liberation, samadhi, and samapatti, as well as the supreme and joyful play of the noble truths, all of which are of the same color. Shariputra, just like this, for example, that person shows those young people three vehicles, and then gives them all a huge vehicle, made of seven precious jewels, adorned with all kinds of ornaments, of the same color, because he has given all the supreme vehicles, he is not lying. Shariputra, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha is also like this, with such skillful means, first shows three vehicles, and later causes beings to completely enter Nirvana by means of the one vehicle.
