The afflictions that I have obtained with difficulty, these twenty beloved sons, are the children of my heart. What many people fear, they dwell in the unbearable house of evil spirits. Everywhere burning, filled with thousands of flames. They have become attached to the joy of playing. I have liberated them today, therefore I am passing into nirvana today." Having known that their father was dwelling in happiness, those children came and said this: "Please grant us the three desirable vehicles that the father spoke of." "You give these three kinds of vehicles," what did your father say in that house? If all those are not there, now is the time, please grant those. That man was endowed with the power of the treasury, gold and silver and jewels and pearls, servants and conches were not few, and he also gave one kind of vehicle. The ox cart was precious and sacred, fitted with side panels, adorned with a net of bells and chimes. Well decorated with umbrellas and victory banners, covered with a net of pearls and jewels. The garlands of golden flowers were very skillfully arranged in all directions. It was covered with a very large cloth, and very fine white cotton cloths were spread out. There, similarly, soft silks were spread, and the best silk-cotton was also spread on that cart. The best Kotamba cloth, with swan patterns, was covered with hundreds of thousands of rivas. Those vehicles fitted with jewels were white elephants, strong and powerful. Beautiful to look at and also very large. They were well supported by holy men. That man gave such an excellent vehicle to all the children, and they were happy and satisfied with it, playing and frolicking in all directions and corners. Similarly, Shariputra, I am also the refuge and father of sentient beings, all these living beings are my children. The children are attached to the desires of the three realms. The three realms are like that house, disturbed by hundreds of unbearable sufferings. Sickness and birth, old age, and death increase greatly. From all places, without exception.

極其熾盛。我從三界之中解脫寂靜，於森林之中居住，獨處隱遁。我已完全掌握這三界，在此焚燒的都是我的孩子。你們若知我為其救護者，我已為其指出過失。像這樣對慾望極度貪執的心，這些孩子們都不聽我的。我已傳授善巧方便，也為他們宣說了三乘。深知三界的眾多過患，為了調伏而宣說了方便。凡是依賴我的孩子們，具有六神通和三明的大威力者，以及此處所有的獨覺，還有不退轉的菩薩們。我像對待兒子一樣教導那些智者，在他們那時，以這些殊勝的譬喻，宣說唯一的佛陀乘，一切都將成佛，請受持此法。佛陀雙足尊的智慧，極其殊勝，非常悅意。在所有這些世間中，都是獨一無二的，廣大的事物，理應敬禮。力量和禪定，以及解脫和禪定，經歷了無數的百千萬。那輛車是如此殊勝，佛子們對此恆常歡喜，日夜嬉戲度日。時間、半月、月份，以及年份和中間的劫，乃至百千萬劫也將度過。聽聞如來聲聞的那些人，以及眾多嬉戲的菩薩們，由此將前往菩提樹，這珍寶之乘是至高無上的。星王，你應當如此理解。即使在所有十方尋找，除了聖者的方便之外，也沒有其他的二乘。你是我的父親，你們也是我的孩子。當你們三界徹底毀壞時，在無數百千萬劫中被焚燒的痛苦中，我將你們徹底救拔出來。像這樣我已宣說涅槃，你們已從輪迴的痛苦中解脫，但你們還沒有完全涅槃，應當尋求佛陀乘。此處安住的菩薩們，都來聽聞我成佛的方式，由此能調伏眾多菩薩。

Extremely blazing. I am liberated and peaceful from the three realms. I dwell in the forests, living in solitude. I have completely taken hold of these three realms. Those who are being burned here are my children. If you recognize me as their protector, I have pointed out their faults. Like this, with minds extremely attached to desire, all these children do not listen to me. I have imparted skillful means, and I have also explained the three vehicles to them. Knowing the many faults of the three realms, I have explained the means for subduing them. Those children who rely on me, with great power of the six superknowledges and the three knowledges, and whatever solitary realizers are here, and whatever non-regressing Bodhisattvas, I teach those wise ones like sons. At that time, with these excellent examples, I explain this single Buddha vehicle, all will become victorious, please hold this. The wisdom of the Buddha, the supreme two-legged one, is extraordinarily excellent and extremely pleasing. In all these worlds, it is unique, the vast object, worthy of prostration. Power and meditation, as well as liberation and samadhi, have passed through countless millions. That chariot is so supreme, the Buddha's sons are always delighted with it, spending their days and nights playing in it. Time, half-months, months, as well as years and intermediate kalpas, and even hundreds of thousands of kalpas will pass. Those who listen to the Sugata Shravakas, and the many Bodhisattvas who play, will go to the Bodhi tree through this, this precious vehicle is the supreme. Star King, you should understand this in this way. Even if you search in all ten directions, there is no other two vehicles besides the means of the noble ones. You are my father, and you are also my children. When you three realms are completely destroyed, I will completely rescue you from the suffering of being burned for countless millions of kalpas. Like this, I have proclaimed Nirvana, you have been liberated from the suffering of samsara, but you have not yet completely attained Nirvana, you should seek the Buddha vehicle. Whatever Bodhisattvas are dwelling here, listen to all these ways of my Buddhahood, through this, many Bodhisattvas can be subdued.
