Having abandoned my body as food for the mountains and rivers. Due to the power of aspiration, my body became as large as a mountain, with hundreds of thousands of heads. It was a hundred yojanas in breadth and a hundred yojanas in height. Humans, wild animals, and birds began to eat my flesh and blood. Son of good family, when those beings ate my body, it would regenerate as if it were a single day, becoming a hundred thousand yojanas in breadth and a hundred thousand yojanas in height. From everywhere, countless human heads with hair, ears, and eyes, with lips and teeth, and with tongues, would appear. From those hundreds of thousands of heads, a human voice would proclaim, 'Hey, sentient beings, take whatever you desire!' 'Hey, eat the flesh!' 'Drink the blood!' 'Take the eyes!' 'Take the ears, noses, hair, lips, teeth, and tongues!' Let the body be satisfied with whatever is desired, whatever is wanted, and however much is desired! Those whose wishes are completely fulfilled should generate the mind of the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, or the Unsurpassed Perfect and Complete Enlightenment! This enjoyment and use of yours will never be exhausted, nor will it be given to you by faith. May you not quickly exhaust your lives!' Thus, it would proclaim. Then, some of those wise sentient beings would generate the mind of the Hearer Vehicle, some would generate the mind of the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, and some would generate the mind of the Unsurpassed Perfect and Complete Enlightenment. I have completely given away a large nose equal to Mount Meru. I have completely given away teeth equal to this mountain of vultures' corpses. There, I even completely gave away my own skin, equal to the ground of all the Buddha-fields of this world. Son of good family, in this way, for tens of thousands of years, with one life, I completely gave away my body, countless, immeasurable, inconceivable bodies I completely gave away. In this way, I satisfied countless, immeasurable, inconceivable beings, but my mind did not regret it for even a moment. There, I also made this kind of aspiration: If I am to awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, may this thought of mine also be completely fulfilled. Just as I once satisfied all beings in one continent with my own body, in all the continents of the Buddha-field Dustless Lotus Adorned World, may such bodies arise for thousands of years, as many as the sands of the Ganges. Just as it was for tens of thousands of years in one continent, so too in all continents, may I satisfy all beings with my own flesh, blood, skin, eyes, ears, nose, lips, tongue, and hair, and may I cause them to correctly hold the three vehicles. May I satisfy humans, yakshas, rakshasas, and all beings in the animal realm, and all the yakshas who eat flesh and drink blood, and even the world of Yama.
