May it be so! May that Buddha-field be completely filled with divine flowers, Mandarava and great Mandarava flowers. In that place, may sentient beings be without old age, sickness, and death. May there be no fear of one another, no fighting with one another, and may sentient beings not die untimely, not die regretting, and not die without being in meditative equipoise. In that place, may sentient beings remember the Buddha. May they not be born in the lower realms. May they not be born in the empty places of the Buddha-field that are filled with the five degenerations. Until enlightenment and complete nirvana, may they not be separated from seeing the Buddha. May they not be separated from hearing the Dharma and serving the Sangha. In that place, may sentient beings have little attachment, little hatred, and little ignorance. May all of them correctly take up and abide in the path of the ten virtuous actions. In that Buddha-field, may sentient beings not engage in fabrication (of negative karma). May there be no cause for falling into the lower realms. In that place, may there be no way for demons to find an opportunity with sentient beings. In that place, may sentient beings not have ugly appearances. In that place, may sentient beings not have hierarchies such as master and servant. In that place, may sentient beings not have possessiveness and not have complete grasping. In that place, may there be no emission of semen even on the path of borrowing for Hearers and Bodhisattvas. In that place, may all sentient beings be devoted to seeking the Dharma and completely seeking the Dharma. In that Buddha-field, may no sentient being have wrong views, and may there be no other non-Buddhists. In that place, may sentient beings not have physical fatigue and not have mental fatigue. In that place, may all those sentient beings possess the five kinds of clairvoyance. In that place, may all sentient beings be without hunger, thirst, and mutual conflict. Like the gods who act as they wish, whatever food they desire, may such things appear before them, jewels.

May they arise from these containers. May there be no feces, urine, saliva, mucus, tears, and sweat of the body. May there be no cold and no heat there. May it be fragrant and delightful. May comfortable breezes arise there, and may the gods and humans engage in the activity of burning incense. When they desire, and what kind they desire, when one desires a cool breeze and another desires a warm breeze, some desire a breeze fragrant with the scent of utpala flowers, some desire a breeze fragrant with the scent of sandalwood serpent's heart, some desire a breeze fragrant with the scent of sandalwood that follows the seasons, some desire a fragrance of Chinese incense, some desire a breeze fragrant with the scent of agarwood, and some desire no breeze at all in any situation, even if they desire, may they accomplish according to their mind and object of focus. Likewise, may that world be free from the five degenerations. May sentient beings then have tiered houses made of the seven precious jewels, and wherever people are in those tiered houses, may they be covered with couches of the seven precious jewels and soft wool pillows, and may things that are soft to the touch like Kacalindika arise. Around those tiered houses, where those people will perform the act of bathing, may ponds filled with water possessing eight qualities arise. May they be adorned with trees of various flowers, palm trees, and rows of trees. May those trees also be adorned with various flowers, various fruits, various fragrances, various clothes, various umbrellas, various pearl necklaces, and various ornaments. The height of the tree is a thousand yojanas. The thickness of the trunk is one yojana. The extent of the branching of the branches is also a thousand yojanas. May that Bodhi tree be moved by the breeze, and from it may arise the sounds of the perfections, the superknowledges, the faculties, the powers, and the limbs of enlightenment, which are more excellent than the deeds of the gods, gentle and pleasing. May any sentient beings who hear these sounds each obtain the recollection of a mind free from desire. In that Buddha-field, may the women be like the daughters of the gods of the Tushita heaven, endowed with all good qualities. May the women there have no foul odor, no double tongues, no jealousy, and no entanglement of miserliness. May the people there not engage in physical union and sexual activity with women. May any men there who develop a mind of lust, when they briefly look at a woman with a mind of lust, may the men's desire be completely pacified, and may they be greatly satisfied, then return and attain pure, undefiled concentration. May they be completely liberated from the bonds of Mara through that concentration, and may they never again generate a mind of desire. May the women there, merely by gazing at a man with lust, become pregnant, and merely by gazing, may the desire of both be completely pacified. May any boy or girl who is in the womb experience such physical and mental happiness as the gods of the Thirty-three heavens experience when they are happy and exceedingly happy. In that Buddha-field, may the boys and girls in the womb experience such happiness under seven parasols. May those pregnant women experience such happiness as a monk who is absorbed in the second dhyana. May those beings not be stained by the filth and impurity of the womb, and on the seventh day, may they smell the most excellent fragrance and comfortable implements.
