Aspirations. Some aspire to be Brahma, some to be a universal monarch, some to great wealth, and some aspire to the Hearer Vehicle. For two hundred and fifty years, I beseech the Blessed One and the Sangha for forbearance. At that time, the Brahmin Ocean Dust, the chief of ceremonies, came and offered robes, food, bedding, cushions, medicine for the sick, utensils, and all necessities for seven years, inviting the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, the essence of the precious Sangha. The Blessed One did not speak, but granted it to his father, the chief of ceremonies. Then, the Brahmin Ocean Dust, with all the abundant offerings, served the precious essence of the Tathagata, the Sangha, in the manner that a wheel-turning king would be honored. Son of the lineage, at another time, such a thought arose in the mind of the Brahmin Ocean Dust: "Although I have caused countless beings to enter into the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, I do not know whether this wheel-turning king desires the kingdom of the gods or the kingdom of humans? Does he desire the Hearer Vehicle or the Solitary Buddha Vehicle? Does he desire the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment? I do not know what aspiration he has. If I were to attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment and liberate those beings who have not overcome birth, old age, sickness, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, distress, and confusion, and liberate those who are not liberated, and lead to nirvana those beings who have not attained complete nirvana, then does this king desire the glory of the gods, or the glory of humans? Does he desire the Hearer's state, or the Solitary Buddha's state? Or does he desire the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment? What does he desire? A god or a Naga?"

Or, a yaksha, or, a Buddha, or, a shravaka, or, some Brahmin, did they appear in my dream? Son of the family, then, the Brahmin Ocean Dust, the chief of the guides, in his dream, the appearance that he saw was that he saw the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, as many as the sands of the Ganges River in the Buddha fields of the ten directions, he saw such an appearance. Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, presented lotuses to that Brahmin, the petals of those lotuses were gold, the stems were silver, the pistils were lapis lazuli, and the stamens were made of the essence of jewels. On all those lotuses, sun mandalas were fully visible. Above those sun mandalas, umbrellas of the seven precious things were fully present. From each sun mandala, sixty-six billion rays of light emerged, and all those rays of light entered the mouth of that Brahmin. My body became as large as a thousand yojanas, and like a completely pure mirror, I saw it completely pure. In the interior of the body, I also saw sixty billion hundred thousand kotis of Bodhisattvas sitting in lotus postures on lotuses, meditating. I also saw those images of the sun mandalas as a garland on my head, and the umbrellas were in the sky above, up to the end of the Brahma world. Around me, I also saw various kinds of lotuses, and from those lotuses came forth divine music that was far beyond human capabilities, and sounds also arose. Then, I saw the wheel-turning king, whose rib circumference was smeared with blood, transformed into a pig's face, running and devouring various kinds of beings. After devouring them, he would lie down under the Eranda tree. Various kinds of beings would come and devour that king, until only the skeleton remained, and then they would abandon it. 有些王子，有的长着猪的脸，有的长着大象的脸，有的长着水牛的脸，有的长着狮子的脸，有的长着狼的脸，有的长着狐狸的脸，有的长着狗的脸，有的长着猴子的脸，看到他们的身体被血涂抹，吃着各种各样的动物，坐在埃兰达树下。又看到许多动物被吃掉，只剩下骨头被丢弃。又看到他们住在同样的身体里，吃着动物。有些王子用鼻花装饰，骑着水牛车，走在错误的道路上，向右边看，看到他们正在下沉。帝释天、梵天和世间守护者也来了，对婆罗门说：‘婆罗门啊，你周围的莲花，你首先要献出一朵莲花作为国王的份额。然后给这些王子每人一朵莲花。剩下的给各地的国王。其他的给人们。’听到这些，婆罗门说：‘我将按照诸神的吩咐去做。’然后，婆罗门从正在采摘莲花中醒来。他从床上起来，回忆起梦境，心想：‘转轮王和一些王子，他们的愿望很低，非常喜欢轮回的快乐，他们是倾向于低劣的。我在梦中看到的一些王子，用鼻花装饰，骑着水牛车，走在错误的道路上，向右边看，看到他们正在下沉，他们是想要声闻乘的。我看到了伟大的景象，通过那个景象，我看到了十方诸佛世尊，那是我让居住在整个赡部洲的无数亿万众生正确地持有和安置三种福德之物，并进行安排的标志。’因为我游历赡部洲，超越了计算众生的数量，他们将正确地持有无上圆满菩提。

Some princes had the faces of pigs, some had the faces of elephants, some had the faces of buffaloes, some had the faces of lions, some had the faces of wolves, some had the faces of foxes, some had the faces of dogs, and some had the faces of monkeys. They were seen with their bodies smeared with blood, eating various kinds of animals, and sitting under the Eranda tree. And many animals were seen eaten, leaving only bones to be discarded. And they were also seen dwelling in the same bodies and eating animals. Some princes were adorned with nasal flowers and riding on buffalo carts, going on the wrong path, looking to the right, and seeing them sinking. Indra, Brahma, and the world protectors also came and said to the Brahmin: 'O Brahmin, of the lotuses around you, you should first offer one lotus as the king's share. Then give each of these princes one lotus each. Give the rest to the kings of the realms. Give the others to the people.' Having heard this, the Brahmin said, 'I will do as the gods have commanded.' Then, the Brahmin woke up from picking the lotuses. He got up from his bed, remembering the dream, and thought to himself: 'The Chakravartin king and some princes, whose aspirations are low and who are very fond of the pleasures of samsara, they are inclined to the inferior. Some of the princes whom I saw in my dream, adorned with nasal flowers and riding on buffalo carts, going on the wrong path, looking to the right, and seeing them sinking, they are those who desire the Hearer Vehicle. I saw a great vision, and through that vision, I saw the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the ten directions, which is the sign that I have caused countless billions of beings dwelling in the entire Jambudvipa to correctly hold and place the three objects of merit, and have arranged them.' Because I have traveled Jambudvipa and have surpassed the counting of sentient beings, they will correctly hold the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment.
