Moreover, at the edge of the Blessed One's robe, there was a precious tree supporting the Blessed One above. That tree was adorned with the seven precious things, various pearl necklaces, various ornaments, and various flower garlands. It was beautifully decorated with various silks and various silk fabrics, and seven precious umbrellas were also hung on that tree. The queen of the Wheel-Turning King, that holy consort, was also sitting in front of the Blessed One, scattering excellent sandalwood powder and sandalwood serpent-heart powder on the Blessed One. The radiant jewel of the Wheel-Turning King was also placed by himself in front of the Blessed One. Then, the light of that jewel constantly illuminated the entire garden with great radiance. The light of the Buddha also constantly illuminated the entire three-thousandfold great thousand world realm. For each of the Hearers, excellent sandalwood footstools were placed. Behind each of the Hearers, there were also things like the former white elephant king, and things the size of the precious wheel that was placed before the Blessed One. In front of each of the Hearers, girls adorned with all kinds of ornaments were arranged, and excellent sandalwood powder was scattered on them. In front of each of the Hearers, beryl jewels were also placed. Various kinds of musical sounds were also played in the surroundings inside the garden. In the surroundings outside the garden, the precious minister's army, complete with the four divisions, was also stationed. Noble son, then the Wheel-Turning King, in order to behold the Blessed One and to serve the Blessed One, came out of the city every day. He traveled by vehicle as far as the vehicle could go, then got off the vehicle and entered the garden on foot. Having entered, he went to where the Tathagata Jewel Essence was,

Then, bowing with their heads at the feet of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, the Jewel Essence, they circumambulated three times. They personally washed the hands of the Tathagata Jewel Essence, wiped them with their own handkerchiefs, and offered many foods, chewables, lickables, and drinks, satisfying him. After wiping their own hands clean and offering satisfaction, knowing that the Bhagavan had put down his bowl and folded his hands, they themselves took up fans and fanned the Bhagavan. A thousand princes and a thousand kings of the realms also made such offerings to each of the Shravakas, took up fans, and fanned the Shravakas. When the offering of food was completed and the sun had just set, countless billions of beings came to the monastery to listen to the Dharma. Countless billions of gods also rained down flowers from the sky and sounded the music of the gods. They hung up divine banners, clothes, and ornaments. Four million yakshas dressed in blue clothes, in order to protect the Bhagavan and the Sangha of monks, took the finest sandalwood trees from the sandalwood grove, chopped them into pieces, and used them as fuel. The retinue of the Wheel-Turning King also lit countless billions of lamps at night in front of the Bhagavan and the Sangha of monks. Son of good family, then the retinue of the Wheel-Turning King sat in front of the Bhagavan, and also placed a lamp on the top of their heads, and also placed a lamp on each of their two shoulders, two hands, and two feet. They lit the lamps in front of the Bhagavan from night until dawn, but due to the power of the Bhagavan, their bodies did not feel tired. Just as a monk who has entered the third dhyana experiences the bliss of the body, in this way, without fatigue of body or mind, they served the Bhagavan for three months. Similarly, a thousand princes and eighty-four thousand kings of the realms

I, and countless billions of other beings, also offered to each Shravaka for three months with royal utensils and such offerings. Just as the Wheel-King's wheel offered to the Tathagata Jewel Heart, so too did the holy consort, the goddess Shri, offer incense and flowers for three months. Likewise, countless billions of daughters also offered flowers, incense, and perfumes to each Shravaka for three months. Son of good family, then King Wheel-Circumference, after those three months had passed, offered to the Blessed One eighty-four thousand ornaments made of Jambu River gold. He also offered to the Blessed One eighty-four thousand golden wheel jewels, including the wheel jewel and so forth. He also offered to the Blessed One eighty-four thousand white elephants, including the elephant jewel and so forth.
