The method of printing has been explained, and there is nothing left to be done later. Ananda, therefore, do not establish what has not been established, and do not abolish what has been established. Ananda, study according to the precepts that have been established. Ananda, this is what you should do, be mindful and rejoice in mindfulness. This is my teaching, do not grieve, do not lament. Ananda, in the final moment I will completely pass into nirvana. Ananda, I will return to my own country and my own place of practice. I will not come to this world again, nor will I go to another world. Hereafter you will not see me, nor will I see you. Ananda, what I rejoice in is the peaceful realm of nirvana without remainder, where it is cool and without dust, free from defilement, where all suffering is completely pacified, that is the desirable nirvana, where there is no birth, no aging, no death, no sorrow, no lamentation, no pain, no displeasure, and no disturbance, no harm, no meeting with the unfriendly, no separation from the friendly, and where the Buddhas and the assemblies of the Buddha's Shravakas who have passed away, are passing away, and will pass away are as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. Ananda, look at sentient beings, they do not rejoice in the realm of nirvana without remainder, and they do not generate even one thought of enlightenment that is in accordance with liberation and possesses the seed of attaining nirvana. Ananda, where is the strength in ordinary people? Ananda, all ordinary people are powerless and weak. Ananda, all these ordinary people appear like grass, chaff, and husks. Ananda, ordinary people do not generate even one thought of enlightenment that is in accordance with liberation and possesses the seed of nirvana, where is the strength in them? Where is there a chance to breathe? Ananda, ordinary people do not have the strength of discipline, they do not have the strength of samadhi, they do not have the strength of wisdom.

There is no power! Ananda, I possess the immeasurable power of the Buddha, countless powers, inconceivable powers, immeasurable powers, limitless powers, and I possess the powers of morality, samadhi, wisdom, liberation, and the wisdom of seeing liberation. I possess the power of knowing shame, the power of being ashamed, the power of accomplishing correctly, the power of wisdom, the power of renunciation, the power of merit, the power of prajna, the power of the senses, the power of blessings, and the ten powers. Ananda, yet I rejoice in the realm of Nirvana. Those children who have become the gate of darkness, who possess the Dharma of ignorance, who wander in samsara, who rejoice in being bound by bonds, they will not generate even one mind that is in accordance with and can transform into the seed of Nirvana. Ananda, in the future time, in the future period, those who praise, establish, and teach such sutras of the complete Nirvana of the Tathagata, those people, after the passing of the Tathagata, will hear such sutras spoken by the Tathagata. Having heard, even if they do not attain the realm of Nirvana without remainder, there will be those who enter this vessel of my precious Dharma. Ananda, in order to widely understand this meaning, I will show you an example. Ananda, for example, many merchants cross a vast wilderness, pass through the fear of a road filled with thieves, and arrive at a fearless city. One of them separates from the many merchants and wanders around. He follows the footsteps of the many merchants, and along the path that the many merchants have taken, he suffers pain, afflictions, and great hardships, and finally meets the many merchants. Similarly, Ananda, the Tathagata has attained the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, and now teaches such sutras. In the future, sons or daughters of good families, having heard such sutras, even if they do not attain the Nirvana with remainder,

Since there are things that can understand this motherless realm of nirvana through sound, I have left this sacred city of Dharma. When they arrive, they will abide in my sacred city of Dharma, protect my sacred Dharma treasury, and also truly proclaim it. Ananda, even if this unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment is entrusted for the sake of one person, you must receive it well, let alone entrusting it for the sake of hundreds of thousands of immeasurable beings? Therefore, Ananda, I entrust to you this unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, which has been accomplished in countless eons, and this treasury of the sacred Dharma jewel. In any case, you must make the fourfold assembly of faithful ones compliant, enter, speak, establish, liberate, differentiate, and clarify. Do not become an inferior person! Ananda, there are beings who are completely ruined because they have not heard sutras like this. Ananda, for them, some wise people will be able to understand the meaning spoken by example, therefore, I will show you an example. Ananda, for example, there is a wealthy merchant or householder, who has great wealth, great enjoyment, many owners, many goods and utensils, much wealth and grain, many people of ownership, many storehouses and granaries, and one of his sons has gone abroad. And that merchant or householder is also sick and unwell, and is very distressed, and when he is about to die, he leaves many jewels, pearls, lapis lazuli, conch shells, exquisite stones, coral, gold, silver, and many precious things to another householder, and after he leaves those precious things, he says to that merchant or householder: You should know that my only son has gone abroad. I am now sick and unwell, and soon I will face death. These jewels and many warehouses are placed in your hands for the sake of that only son. When my only son comes back from that foreign land, and he dwells cautiously in the Dharma of caution, then...
