Having completely abandoned causes and conditions, and completely separated from all activities, the abode of extremely subtle beings, having abandoned both characteristics and basis, that body becomes supreme, I say that is unborn. External objects are neither existent nor non-existent, sentient beings are completely unattainable, all views are completely abandoned, I say that is unborn. In this way, one should distinguish between selflessness and emptiness, etc. It is not said to be empty because it is empty, but it is said to be empty because it is unborn. In the aggregation of causes and conditions, birth and destruction occur. If there is something apart from the number of causes and conditions, there is no birth or destruction. If there is something apart from the number of causes and conditions, there are no different things. The so-called one and many are the discriminations of the heretics. Existent and non-existent things do not arise, they are neither existent nor non-existent. Apart from the change in number, nothing can be determined. Since there is number only in convention, they are related to each other. If there is something apart from the relationship of cause and condition, the meaning of birth is unreasonable. Because of non-birth, things do not change, abandoning the faults of the heretics, only the relationship of conditions is explained, but children do not understand. If there is something apart from the relationship of conditions, saying that things have birth, that is a nihilist, and the meaning of relationship will be destroyed. Just as the images of lamps illuminate, so is the appearance of relationship. If there is something apart from that relationship, things are of the nature of existence. Since there is no thing, there is no birth, like the nature of space. If one deviates from relationships, there is nothing to be conceived by the mind. Furthermore, there is unborn, which is the Dharma nature attained by the noble ones. That which does not arise is the forbearance of non-birth. When all these worlds are completely regarded as mere relationships, having completely abandoned all relationships, from then on, samadhi will be attained. Ignorance, craving, karma, etc., are internal relationships. Ignorance, clay, wheels, and seeds, etc., are external. If there is another thing, saying that it arises from cause and condition, that is not the meaning of relationship, and that will not be established. If birth is self-nature.

None. Whose connection is that? Because of arising mutually, one should know the meaning of cause and condition. Solidity, moisture, warmth, and the nature of movement, are distinguished by children. There is no other dharma except number. Therefore, it is said that there are no objects. Doctors heal all diseases, even though the treatises are not different. But due to the differences in diseases, various remedies are taught. I also, in order to destroy the afflictive diseases of those beings, having fully understood the faculties, teach the door of liberation. Because of the differences in afflictions and faculties, the Dharma is not of various kinds. The one and only vehicle is the one who teaches the Dharma. That is the Great Vehicle. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahamati asked the Blessed One, saying: "Blessed One, all the heretics also distinguish that everything is impermanent. The Blessed One also said: 'All conditioned things are impermanent, they are of the nature of arising and ceasing.' So, what is the meaning of this, is it inverted or correct? How many aspects are there of impermanence itself?" The Blessed One said: "Mahamati, the heretics have seven aspects of impermanence, but in my teaching there are not. What are the seven? Some of them say this: 'Having manifestly assembled, completely abandoning is impermanence.' Some say: 'The complete destruction of form is impermanence.' Some say: 'Form itself is impermanent.' Some say: 'The state of transformation of form is impermanence,' without interruption, connected by its own nature and decaying. Just as the differences such as milk turning into yogurt cannot be seen, so also all things enter into the impermanence of complete destruction. Some say: 'Things themselves are impermanent.' Some say: 'The non-thing of things is impermanent.' Some say: 'All dharmas are impermanent because they do not arise, entering into all dharmas.' Among these, Mahamati, the so-called non-thing of things is impermanence, is like this: the four great elements and the self of what has become from the four great elements.
