However, those with incorrect views understand that there is bondage and liberation. Why is that? Because for all dharmas, existence and non-existence, and beings are unobtainable. Furthermore, Mahamati, there are three forms of connection for various childish beings, namely, desire, hatred, and delusion. For those who crave the future and are delighted in existence, due to this connection, they will be connected in various forms of existence of sentient beings. This connection takes place in the five realms. Mahamati, for those who have severed the connection, there is neither connection nor the characteristic of non-connection. Furthermore, Mahamati, when the conditions of the aggregation of the three, and the attachment to actions manifest, the connection of various consciousnesses arises without interruption. Due to attachment to actions, it leads to the connection of existence. If one abandons consciousness due to the conditions of the aggregation of the three, and realizes the three liberations, then all connections will not arise. Then, the Bhagavan, in order to explain that meaning again, spoke these verses: Non-true discrimination, is called the nature of connection, if one truly understands, the net of connection will be cut. Because of not knowing all things, one follows after words, like a silkworm making a cocoon, the net of connection binds itself. Foolish children are bound by discrimination, they cannot individually understand. The Sixth Chapter of the Noble Lankavatara Sutra. Again, Mahamati asked the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, what you said, whatever things are measured by whatever discriminations, those things are only conceptual constructs, because they have no self-nature, so they are only the self-nature of conceptual constructs. Bhagavan, if it is only the self-nature of conceptual constructs, and does not rely on the characteristics of the self-nature of things, then Bhagavan, wouldn't this lead to the fault that all afflictions and purifications you spoke of have no substance? All dharmas

Everything is the nature of complete imputation, because things do not exist. The Blessed One said: Great Wisdom, it is just so, as you have said. Great Wisdom, just as ordinary people conceive of things as their own nature, reality is not like that, so the nature of complete imputation is not the nature of things, however, Great Wisdom, the wisdom of the noble ones, with the nature of things as they exist, with the wisdom of the noble ones and the vision of the noble ones, and with the eye of wisdom of the noble ones, truly realizes the nature of things. Great Wisdom asked: Blessed One, if the noble wisdom and the noble vision of the noble ones, and the eye of wisdom of the noble ones, do not truly realize the nature of things like the divine eye and the fleshly eye, not like what ordinary people conceive, then, Blessed One, how can the discrimination of ordinary people be stopped? Because the nature of the noble ones is not understood. Blessed One, those are neither inverted nor not inverted. What is the reason for that? For example, not understanding the nature of the noble things, and not seeing the characteristics of being with and without, and being separated. Blessed One, the noble ones, with such a view, will not see as they conceive of things in that way, because they do not make their own nature's object of experience an object of experience. Blessed One, for them, the characteristics of the nature of things also appear like the nature of complete imputation, because there is no cause shown, so there is no cause, for example, because they fall into the view of the nature of things, the object of experience becomes different, because those are not like the real, so this will become the fault of having no limit, Blessed One, because the nature of things is not understood. Blessed One, the cause of the nature of discrimination

If it is not the characteristic of substantiality, then how can those pervasive cognitions not become pervasive cognitions, and how can one come to understand that they are pervasive imputations as they are? World Honored One, the characteristic of individual discrimination is also different, and the characteristic of self-nature is also different. World Honored One, if the cause is different, then why not individually understand the characteristics of discrimination and self-nature? Furthermore, why do individual ordinary people not understand as it is? However, in order to completely abandon the discriminations of sentient beings, even if it is shown as the characteristic of pervasive imputation, it is not truly existent. World Honored One, why do sentient beings cling to the nature of things that exist and do not exist and the view of existence, and the realm of activity of the wisdom of the noble ones, and in order to dispel clinging to falling into the view of existence, say that the Dharma of emptiness has no things? And declared the things of the self-nature of the noble ones. The World Honored One declared: Great Wisdom, I did not say that the Dharma of emptiness has no things, nor did I show the things of the self-nature of the wisdom of the noble ones because of falling into the view of existence. However, in order to completely abandon the places of fear for sentient beings, for those sentient beings who from beginningless time have clung to the characteristic of the nature of things, who regard the nature of things of the wisdom of the noble ones as a characteristic and cling to it, the Dharma of emptiness is taught. Great Wisdom, although I have not shown the nature of things, Great Wisdom, however, I myself have truly understood it, abide in the Dharma of emptiness, and completely abandoned the view of regarding it as a mistaken characteristic, by being separated from the appearance of one's own mind, things, and the view of non-existence, with the seal of the true understanding of the three liberations deeply imprinted, and by individually discriminating and abiding in the nature of things with one's own wisdom, thereby completely abandoning the characteristic of viewing things as existing and non-existing.
