If there is not, if one wants to take the characteristics of self and commonality, there is no place to come to; if one wants to abandon, there is no place to leave. Therefore, all dharmas are free from coming and going. Great Wisdom, why do all dharmas not cease? Because there is no characteristic of the nature of things, and because all dharmas have no object of focus, all dharmas do not cease. Great Wisdom, how are all dharmas impermanent? Like this, because there is self-nature birth is impermanent, therefore it is said that all dharmas are impermanent. Great Wisdom, how are all dharmas permanent? Like this, self-nature birth is an unborn thing, because of impermanence it is permanent, therefore it is said that all dharmas are permanent. Then, the Blessed One, in order to show that meaning again, spoke these verses: Prophecy is of four kinds, namely, beginning, questioning, classification, and establishment, in order to refute the heretical debaters. From existence and non-existence arises, this is the characteristic of Samkhya and Vaisheshika. All things that are not shown by prophecy are fully shown by themselves. Even if analyzed with wisdom, the self-nature cannot be seen, because it is free from speech, therefore it fully shows the freedom from self-nature. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Great Wisdom again said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, please explain the characteristics of the detailed classification of the stream-enterer's stream-entering conduct. If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is proficient in the characteristics of the detailed classification of the stream-enterer's conduct, he can understand the classification of the characteristics of the methods of becoming a once-returner, a non-returner, and an Arhat, and preach the Dharma to sentient beings in such and such a way, like this, how can one understand the characteristics of the two non-selves, completely purify the two obscurations, and realize the transcendence of the characteristics of the grounds of all the grounds, thereby obtaining the inconceivable ultimate realm of the Tathagata, benefiting all sentient beings like jewels of various colors

It is very beneficial to all, the place of practice for all Dharmas, and the body and enjoyment sought through thought will make all beings live closely. The Blessed One said: Mahamati, listen well and keep it in mind, and I will explain it to you. Mahamati said to the Blessed One: Very well, Blessed One, as you say, I will listen to your teachings. The Blessed One said: Mahamati, those who have entered the stream have three kinds of distinctions in the fruit of entering the stream. What are the three? They are: the lowest, the middle, and the highest. Among them, the lowest has seven lives in the beginning. The middle will completely pass away from suffering with three or five lives. The highest will completely pass away from suffering in this very life. These three have three kinds of attachments: small, medium, and large. What are the three kinds of attachments? They are: the view of the aggregates, doubt, and holding precepts and vows as supreme. Through the distinctions of these three attachments, one becomes more and more distinguished and attains the fruit of an Arhat. Mahamati, the view of the aggregates also has two aspects: innate and imputed, just as one distinguishes the nature of imputed reality under the control of others. For example, relying on the nature of dependence, various attachments to the nature of imputation arise. It is neither existent nor non-existent, nor both, because it is the characteristic of false imputation. Just as the discriminating minds of ordinary people are attached to the characteristics of various natures, like thirsty deer perceiving water in a mirage. This is the imputed view of the aggregates of those who have entered the stream. Because of realizing the selflessness of persons and perceiving things as non-existent, things that have not been known or understood for a long time will be abandoned. Mahamati, the innate view of the aggregates is what those who have entered the stream possess.

And, seeing others' bodies as equal to oneself, and because the four aggregates do not have the nature of form, and because form arises from the elements, and because it is transformed from the elements, and because of the nature of mutual interaction, and because the elements and forms are not accumulated, and because the stream-enterer, when examining the aspects of existence and non-existence, abandons attachment to the view of the perishable aggregate due to invisibility. Thus, having abandoned the view of the perishable aggregate, desire will not arise, this is the nature of the view of the perishable aggregate. Great wisdom, the nature of doubt is like this: because of clearly seeing the nature of obtaining the Dharma well, and having abandoned the discriminating thoughts of the previous two views of the perishable aggregate, therefore doubt will not arise towards the dharmas, and one will not show others pure or impure views, this is the nature of the stream-enterer abandoning doubt. Great wisdom, why does the stream-enterer not become complacent with morality? It is like this: because one clearly sees the nature of the suffering of birth, therefore one does not become complacent. Great wisdom, complacency is like this: foolish ordinary people do not change, but through asceticism and practice they seek enjoyment and happiness, therefore they strive to seek rebirth. Therefore, not being complacent is also completely purified in other ways, because the special discriminating thoughts of wisdom are combined with the nature of the undefiled Dharma, so one correctly accepts and protects the limbs of morality, this is the nature of the stream-enterer's morality and abandoning wrong livelihood. The stream-enterer abandons the three bonds, therefore desire and ignorance will not arise. If the stream-enterer thinks that these bonds have not manifested in oneself, then there will be two faults: falling into the view of the perishable aggregate, and not abandoning the bonds. Great wisdom asked the Blessed One: Blessed One, you have spoken of many forms of desire, so what kind of desire has he abandoned? The Blessed One replied: Great
