A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is skilled in completely abandoning the views of arising, abiding, and ceasing. How does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva individually attain the abundant bliss of noble wisdom? For example, having thoroughly attained forbearance of the unborn Dharma, the Bodhisattva abides in the eighth ground, being separated from mind, intellect, and consciousness, as well as the characteristics of the five dharmas, self-nature, and the two kinds of selflessness, and also thoroughly attains the mind-made body. Blessed One, why is it called the mind-made body? The Blessed One said: Great Intelligence, the so-called mind-made body is called the mind-body because it is as swift as the mind and without obstruction. For example, the mind has no obstruction to mountains, walls, and so on, and in various directions, in countless hundreds of thousands of yojanas, the body that does not forget the cause of remembering what was previously seen enters without obstruction, with the continuous stream of one's own mind unbroken. Great Intelligence, similarly, the mind-made body is also obtained simultaneously. The mind-made body of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is adorned with the power of the illusion-like Samadhi, as well as mastery and supernormal knowledge, and excellent marks. The body of the noble lineage is born simultaneously, entering as desired and without obstruction, remembering the realm of previous aspirations, and individually attains the abundant bliss of noble wisdom in order to fully ripen sentient beings. Thus, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, having thoroughly attained forbearance of the unborn Dharma, abides in the eighth ground, being separated from mind, intellect, and consciousness, as well as the body of the characteristics of the five dharmas, self-nature, and the two kinds of selflessness, and the mind-made body, individually attains the abundant bliss of noble wisdom. This is the great skillful means of yoga that a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva possesses with four dharmas, and you should train in it. Then, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Great Intelligence

Then the Bodhisattva Khenpo also said to the Bhagavan: "Oh Bhagavan, please explain the characteristics of the causes and conditions of all phenomena. In this way, by understanding the characteristics of causes and conditions, I and the Bodhisattvas will be free from the conceptualizations of seeing all things as existing or not existing, and the views of conceptualizing sequential and simultaneous arising will disappear." The Bhagavan said: "Great Wisdom, the characteristics of the conditions of all phenomena are of two types, namely external and internal. The external conditions are like this: from the lump of clay, the clay slurry, the wheel, the string, the water, and the craftsmanship of people, as well as the conditions of combination, a pot arises. Just as a pot arises from a lump of clay, so too, cloth arises from thread, mats arise from grass, sprouts arise from seeds, butter arises from yogurt, and so on. Those that arise from the conditions of combination are also the same. This is called the external condition, which changes and arises sequentially. What then is the internal condition? It is like this: ignorance, craving, and karma, etc., are called 'conditions,' and the aggregates, elements, and sense bases that arise from these are also called 'dependent arising.' These are what children imagine from non-differentiation; this is called the Dharma of internal conditions. Great Wisdom, there are six types of causes: the cause of becoming, the cause of relation, the cause of characteristic, the cause of action, the cause of manifestation, and the cause of dependence. Among these, the cause of becoming is the action of the cause in producing external and internal phenomena. The cause of relation is the action of focusing on producing external and internal phenomena, such as aggregates and seeds. The cause of characteristic is the continuous production without interruption by producing the immediately preceding characteristic. The cause of action is the action of exercising power, like a universal monarch. The cause of manifestation is the action of the characteristic appearing when the object of conceptualization arises, like a lamp.
