The cause of. That which arises from the collection of causes, you should not know that to be non-existent. The cause of existence is non-existence, and non-existence cannot be non-existent. Existence arises from the companion of non-existence. They are the cause of each other as companions. What abides on what, and who contemplates what appears? What relies on what is causeless, not causeless? If it relies on something else, and that also appears to something else, then it becomes infinite, and everything becomes nothing. Just as leaves on trees, etc., rely and appear as illusions, so having relied on things, various things appear to people. The net of illusion is not leaves, nor bark, nor tree. Children see it as magic, and the magician sees its place. Likewise, abiding in things, if something becomes distinct, when it appears, there is no duality. How should one examine what is in what? In conceptual thought, there is no conceptualization, and there is no such thing as conceptual thought. Because there is no conceptual thought, there is no nirvana and no samsara. Because there is no conceptual thought, conceptual thought does not arise. If it does not arise, how does one think? It is definitely not just mind. Because there are many different thoughts, there is no essence in the teachings. Because there is no essence, there is no liberation, and all the various aspects of the world are also non-existent. Just as children measure, there is no appearance of external objects. The mind appears like an image, and habits cause it to rise like a whirlwind. Because existence and non-existence have not arisen, all things are unborn. All these are just mind. All conceptual thoughts have been abandoned. Children explain things through conditions, but wise people do not. Nature is separate from mind, and mind approaches the sacred. Samkhya and naked ascetics, likewise Brahmins and cowherds, fall into the view of existence and non-existence, and are cut off by the meaning of separation. Nature is non-existent and unborn, emptiness, illusion, and stainlessness. For whom do the Buddhas and you explain these? Yogis seek the mind, abandoning views and thoughts. The Buddhas teach yoga, and I also explain it well. If all this is mind, why is the world so

Abides in. Why do people come and go, appearing so clearly on the earth? Just as birds in the sky, driven by thoughts, move around everywhere, without a place to stay, without anything to rely on, yet they can move freely on the earth. Similarly, all sentient beings, also driven by discriminating thoughts, flow in my mind, like birds in the sky. The appearance of body, enjoyment, and dwelling, it is said that the mind deeply enters into them. How do appearance and entry occur? Please tell me, O Mind-Only one. Body, enjoyment, and dwelling, and the habitual tendencies of appearance and entry, appear and enter due to discriminating thoughts, and for those who do not strive, they will arise. Things that are discriminated are objects. The mind arises from objects. By fully understanding the appearing mind, discriminating thoughts will not arise. The name that is established is without name, it is abandoning knowing and what is to be known. When will one see conditioned phenomena? At that time, one will be liberated. Meditating on name in name, that is all that needs to be understood. Those who understand it as something else, they do not understand, nor are they able to understand. The five dharmas, self-nature, the eight consciousnesses, and the two selflessnesses, contain all the Mahayana. When beings see what is devoid of knowing and what is to be known, at that time, the discrimination of name in name will not manifest. In order to see the mind, one must act, in order to discriminate letters, one must return. Because one has not seen one's own mind, discriminating thoughts deeply enter. Like the formless aggregates, from them there is no counting. The elements are different, they are the form of names. How do forms become many? Because the nature is completely abandoned, it is not transformed from the elements, nor is it the elements. However, if the nature is another form, why do the aggregates not arise? Aggregates, sources, liberation, when one sees no nature, and because one sees the selflessness of phenomena, at that time the mind will return. Because objects and faculties are different, the eight consciousnesses arise. By nature, there are three, and when there is no appearance, it will return. The alaya is the self of mind, consciousness itself is mine. Because of clinging to duality, one will deeply enter. If one fully understands, one will return. One and different, and liberation.
