Not falling into connection, and the connection of all dharmas, and being skilled in connection and non-connection, destroying with wisdom the individual discriminations of words and letters, acting in the retinue of all Buddha-fields, and empowered with power, authority, supernormal knowledge, and the seal of dharani, with various emanated rays of light, being like the spontaneously accomplished manner of acting with the ultimate ten grounds, and with wisdom that is extremely connected, like the moon, the sun, jewels, and the great elements. For all dharmas, reversing views from the nature of individual discriminations, and by seeing all dharmas such as dreams and illusions, following and entering the position of the Buddha-ground. Guiding by teaching the Dharma in a manner appropriate to all realms of sentient beings, thereby abandoning the aspects of existence and non-existence of all dharmas such as dreams and illusions. For the discriminations of birth and destruction, being well established by entering the position of other sound categories. Please explain to me the nature of the connection and non-connection of all dharmas. Please, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, explain to me. The Bhagavan said: Good, good! Great Wisdom, therefore listen very well and keep it in mind, and I will explain it to you. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Great Wisdom said: Good, Bhagavan. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Great Wisdom listened again to the Bhagavan, and the Bhagavan said to him: Great Wisdom, the connection of the sound of all dharmas appearing as it is, is immeasurable, namely, the connection of appearing attachment to nature, the connection of appearing attachment to conditions, the connection of appearing attachment to things and non-things, the connection of appearing attachment to the discrimination of birth and non-birth, the connection of individually discriminating by appearing attachment to cessation and non-cessation, the connection of appearing attachment to nature, the connection of individually discriminating by appearing attachment to vehicle and non-vehicle, the connection of conditioned phenomena and

The connection of being attached to the separate discriminations of things not done, and the connection of being attached to the discriminations of the nature of earth and earth itself, and the connection of one's own discriminations being manifestly discriminated, and the connection of separately discriminating the positions of the heretics on the side of existence and non-existence, and the connection of discriminating the manifest realization of the three vehicles and the one vehicle. O Mahamati, these and others are the connections of the discriminations of ordinary people towards their own objects. Ordinary people, connecting to those connections, are attached to the nature of connecting things and non-things, and because they want to connect with the view of their own discriminations like silkworms, they are completely entangled with themselves and others by the thread of the view connecting their own discriminations. O Mahamati, seeing all dharmas as completely secluded, there is no connection or nature of connection in this. O Mahamati, because discrimination does not arise, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva dwells seeing all dharmas as secluded. Furthermore, O Mahamati, understanding external things and non-things as the nature of the appearance of one's own mind, and the non-appearance following only one's own mind, and seeing the connection of discrimination on all existing and non-existing things as completely secluded, therefore there is no connection on all dharmas, and there is no nature of connection. O Mahamati, in this there is neither binding nor liberation, otherwise, with a perverted mind, one knows binding and liberation. Why is that? For example, because the connection of existence and non-existence on all dharmas is not observed. Furthermore, O Mahamati, the connections of ordinary people are of three kinds, namely desire, hatred, and delusion, and the desire with joy is also the craving of those who have existence, and connecting to what, the connections of beings arise. In that, sentient beings

Connecting these to the five paths of beings is connection. Mahamati, once connection is severed, there is neither connection nor understanding of the definition of connection. Furthermore, Mahamati, due to the causes of the gathering of the three, and attachment to the combination of actions, the connection of the consciousnesses, clinging in the manner of uninterrupted entry, thus becomes the connection of existence. Reversing the consciousnesses from the causes of the gathering of the three, and seeing the three liberations, all connections will not arise. To this it should be said: The untrue, the all-imagining, is called the definition of connection. If one truly knows all, the net of connection is cut. By clinging to the sound of knowing things, like a silkworm making its cocoon. Fools are not skilled in connection, they are bound by their own discriminations. Again, Mahamati asked: Whatever the Blessed One said, by what discriminations, measuring what things, those are all imagined, those things have no self-nature. Blessed One, if it is merely imagined, and one does not understand the definition of the self-nature of things, the Blessed One said thus, all dharmas become the nature of imagination, then defiled and purified things will also cease to exist. The Blessed One said: Mahamati, it is just so, just as it is said. Mahamati, how ordinary people discriminate the self-nature of things, it is not like that, that is merely imagined, not understanding the self-nature and definition of things. Mahamati, however, how the noble ones, with the wisdom of the noble ones, the vision of the noble ones, and the eye of wisdom of the noble ones, realize the self-nature of things, that is the self-nature of things. Mahamati asked: Blessed One, if it is not by the miraculous powers and physical eyes of the noble ones, but by the wisdom of the noble ones, the vision of the noble ones, and the eye of wisdom of the noble ones, realizing the self-nature of things, then it will become like that.
