將會親眼看見恆河沙數百千萬的沙子，他們所有人都會對那位種姓之子說：種姓之子，你聽聞了雙法的法類，來世將會獲得如此多的功德、利益和安樂，不要害怕！他們會這樣安慰他。種姓之子，你是否見到如來恆河沙數百千萬億兆這麼多？回答：世尊，我見到了。善逝，我見到了。佛說：種姓之子，那些如來是來看你的。回答：我做了什麼善業，這麼多如來會到我這裡來？佛說：種姓之子，聽著！你獲得人身，聽聞了雙法的法類，因此你積累了如此多的福德。回答：世尊，如果我的福德積累到如此之多，那麼完全聽聞就更不用說了。佛說：安靜！安靜！種姓之子，聽我說四句偈的福德。種姓之子，例如，如來、阿羅漢、正等覺，恆河十三沙數的福德之聚，也比不上聽聞四句偈的福德之聚。如果有人供養如來、阿羅漢、正等覺，恆河十三沙數，不如聽聞此雙法法類中的四句偈，那人也會積累比那更多的福德。完全聽聞就更不用說了。種姓之子，聽著，誰會完全聽聞此雙法經的法類？如果有人在三千大千世界的所有地方都種滿芝麻，那麼多的芝麻籽，他將成為轉輪聖王。然後，有一個人富有、財產眾多、享受豐厚，然後那個人將會轉輪

You will see directly the sand of hundreds of thousands of millions of Ganges rivers, and all of them will say to that son of good family: Son of good family, having heard the categories of the Twin Dharma, you will have so much merit, benefit, and happiness in the next life, do not be afraid! They will breathe a sigh of relief. O son of good family, have you seen the Tathāgatas, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, hundreds of thousands of millions of trillions? He replied: O Blessed One, I have seen them. O Sugata, I have seen them. The Buddha said: O son of good family, those Tathāgatas have come to see you. He replied: What virtuous deeds have I done that so many Tathāgatas have come to me? The Buddha said: Son of good family, listen! Because you have obtained a human body and have heard the categories of the Twin Dharma, therefore you have accumulated such a great mass of merit. He replied: O Blessed One, if my mass of merit has become so great, what need is there to mention hearing it completely? The Buddha said: Be quiet, be quiet, O son of good family, listen to the merit of a four-line verse. Son of good family, for example, even the mass of merit of the Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, as many as the sands of thirteen Ganges Rivers, would generate much more merit. If someone were to make offerings to the Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, as many as the sands of thirteen Ganges Rivers, even hearing just a four-line verse from this category of the Twin Dharma would generate a much greater mass of merit than that. What need is there to mention hearing it completely? Son of good family, listen to who will completely hear this category of the Twin Dharma Sutra. If someone were to become a universal monarch as numerous as the sesame seeds sown throughout the entire three-thousand-great-thousand world system, then there would be a person who is rich, has much wealth, and is endowed with great enjoyment, and then that person would turn the wheel.

If all beings in the three-thousand great thousand world systems become non-returners, it is better to give to one Arhat, which accumulates even more merit. If all beings in the three-thousand great thousand world systems become Arhats, it is better to give to one Pratyekabuddha, which accumulates even more merit. If all beings in the three-thousand great thousand world systems become Pratyekabuddhas, it is better to give to one Bodhisattva, which accumulates even more merit. If all beings in the three-thousand great thousand world systems become Bodhisattvas, it is better to generate faith and joy in one Tathagata, or to generate faith and joy in the three-thousand great thousand world systems filled with Tathagatas, or to hear this Dharma category of the Twin Sutra, that is merit.

善男子，那功德会更加增上。普遍勇识，何况书写、受持、读诵、完全理解这个法类呢？普遍勇识，何况以欢喜心顶礼这个法类呢？普遍勇识，你怎么想？所有凡夫俗子都能听到这个吗？即使听到了，也不会生起信心。普遍勇识，听着！凡夫俗子的有情众生中，有谁能找到大海的深处呢？答：世尊，没有。佛说：普遍勇识，有哪个有情能用一只手掌使大海干涸呢？答：世尊，没有。善逝，没有。佛说：普遍勇识，正如没有任何有情能使大海干涸一样。普遍勇识，任何信奉低劣的有情众生都不能听闻这个法类。普遍勇识，那些没有见过八十恒河沙数如来的人，不能书写这个双法类。那些见过九十恒河沙数如来的人，不能听闻这个法类。那些没有见过百千万亿如来的人，听闻这个法类后会舍弃。普遍勇识，那些见过恒河沙数百万如来的人，听闻这个法类会生起欢喜心，会高兴，会如实了知，并且会信仰这个双法类而不舍弃。普遍勇识，听着！凡是从这部双经中书写一个四句偈的人，他们超越九十五千亿世界，他们的佛土会变得像极乐世界一样。普遍勇识，那些有情众生的寿命是

O brave one, that accumulation of merit will be even greater. What need to mention writing, holding, reading, and fully comprehending this Dharma category? O brave one, what need to mention even bowing to this Dharma category with a joyful mind? O brave one, what do you think? Can all ordinary people hear this? Even if they hear it, they will not generate faith. O brave one, listen! Among the sentient beings who are ordinary people, is there anyone who can find the bottom of the great ocean? He replied: Bhagavan, there is not. The Buddha said: O brave one, is there any sentient being who can dry up the ocean with one palm? He replied: Bhagavan, there is not. Sugata, there is not. The Buddha said: O brave one, just as there is no sentient being who can dry up the great ocean, so too, O brave one, any sentient being who is devoted to the inferior cannot hear this Dharma category. O brave one, those who have not seen eighty kotis of tathagatas equal to the sands of the Ganges cannot write this dual Dharma category. Those who have seen ninety kotis of tathagatas equal to the sands of the Ganges cannot hear this Dharma category. Those who have not seen a hundred thousand million kotis of tathagatas will abandon this Dharma category after hearing it. O brave one, those who have seen a hundred thousand kotis of tathagatas equal to the sands of the Ganges will generate a joyful mind upon hearing this Dharma category. They will be delighted. They will know it as it truly is, and they will have faith in this dual Dharma category and will not abandon it. O brave one, listen! Those who write even one four-line verse from this dual sutra will transcend ninety-five trillion worlds, and their Buddha-field will become like the Sukhavati world.
