Then, the king gave the kingdom to the young man and said: May you become a great and famous king, and rule by Dharma, not by non-Dharma. Then, after giving the kingdom, he named him King. King Immaculate Moon also did not become the king of his own country. Then, hundreds of thousands of ministers went to where King Immaculate Moon was and said to King Immaculate Moon: Great King, why do you not now become the king of your own country? The king said: I have gone through countless eons, and even though I have had kingship, enjoyment, and power, I have never been satisfied. Also, at that time, after a long time, that son killed his parents, and thus he accumulated the karma of immediate retribution. O good man, when that king felt the pain and cried with tears of regret, I generated great compassion for him, and then went there and taught him the Dharma, and he also heard the Dharma, so that those karmas of immediate retribution were quickly and completely purified, and I also remember that time. Said: Whoever hears the names of the two dharmas, the king of the sutras, the great ascetic, will obtain the supreme place of Dharma, all sins will be purified, and all afflictions will be pacified. Who will be quickly liberated? Listen carefully to the Dharma that is spoken. Just a four-line verse, never abandon it.

现在宣说，如果所有罪业都得以清净，就能证得入流果。为了说明脱离一切罪业，特意宣说。将有情从地狱恐惧的束缚中，彻底解脱众生的痛苦。然后，那人从座位上起身，合掌，向他顶礼，赞叹“好啊”。赞叹道：善哉，善知识们！善哉，能摧毁罪业者！凡是开示双经大义者，以及听闻者，都善哉！此后，在彼时彼刻，从上方虚空中，两万天子合掌来到那位仙人面前，顶礼其足，说道：世尊大苦行者，还需要多久才能达到目的？同样，四百俱胝（一俱胝等于一千万）的龙王也来了，八千俱胝的夜叉王也来了，来到那位仙人所在之处，合掌作礼，说道：具大德者，还需要多久才能如愿？仙人答道：无数劫，俱胝千亿劫。又问：以何善业，能令此罪业瞬间平息？答道：听闻双经之法门。凡是听闻此法门并生起信心的有情众生，都将被授记为证得无上正等觉。如果有人造了五无间罪，听闻这部名为“双”的法门，也能在瞬间使所有五无间罪完全灭尽、完全清净，并封闭无数俱胝千亿劫的恶趣之门。三十三天界的门将会开启。如果有人从这部双经法门中，哪怕只听闻一句四句偈，其善根也会如此巨大。更何况是用鲜花、熏香、涂香、花鬘、香粉、法衣、伞盖、幢幡等来供养、恭敬、描绘、

Now, if all sins are purified, one will attain the stream-enterer fruit. To specifically state the liberation from all sins, it is specially proclaimed. From the bonds of the fear of hell, completely liberate the suffering of sentient beings. Then, that person rises from that seat, joins their palms, prostrates to him with their head, and bestows great praise, saying, "Excellent!" Praising, "Excellent, virtuous friends! Excellent, destroyers of sins!" Those who teach the great meaning of the Twin Sutra, and those who hear it, are also excellent! Then, at that time, at that moment, from the upper sky, two thousand trillion sons of gods, with palms joined, came to that sage, prostrated at his feet, and said, "World Honored One, Great Ascetic, how long will it take to reach the goal?" Similarly, four hundred kotis (one koti equals ten million) of dragon kings came, and eight thousand kotis of yaksha kings came, to the place where that sage was, joined their palms in reverence, and said, "Possessor of great virtue, how long will it take to fulfill your wishes?" The sage replied, "Countless kalpas, kotis of trillions of hundreds of thousands of kalpas." They asked, "By what virtuous deed will this sinful action be completely pacified in an instant?" He replied, "By hearing the Dharma of the Twin Sutra." Those sentient beings who hear this Dharma and generate faith will all be prophesied to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. If someone has committed the five heinous crimes, even if they hear this Dharma called "Twin," in an instant, all those five heinous crimes will be completely exhausted and completely purified, and the gates of the evil realms will be closed for countless kotis of trillions of hundreds of thousands of kalpas. The thirty-two gates of the world of gods will be opened. If someone hears even just a four-line verse from this Twin Sutra Dharma, their root of virtue will be so great. How much more so if one offers, respects, and depicts with flowers, incense, scented powder, garlands, ointments, powders, Dharma robes, umbrellas, banners, and pennants?
