Ninety-nine kotis of thousands, and with two kinds of miraculous powers, I saw the Bhagavan, a thousand kotis. In the seventh umbrella, I went to the world of the Lotus Lama, and in between, I also saw a hundred thousand kotis of undisturbed Buddha-fields. O Bhagavan, from then on, in ninety-two kotis of thousands of Buddha-fields, I saw the Tathagata teaching the Dharma, and in that umbrella, in eighty kotis of thousands of Buddha-fields, I saw eighty kotis of thousands of Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas appearing in the world, and after paying homage to all those Tathagatas, I returned. O Bhagavan, in that umbrella, having passed thirty-nine kotis of thousands of Buddha-fields, in all those thirty-nine kotis of thousands of Buddha-fields, thirty-nine kotis of thousands of Bodhisattvas also appeared, and in that umbrella, they manifestly awakened to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. O Bhagavan, after circumambulating those Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas three times, they disappeared by means of their miraculous powers. O Bhagavan, in sixty kotis of Buddha-fields, I also saw the Buddhas, the Bhagavans. O Bhagavan, after paying homage to those Buddha-fields and those Buddhas, the Bhagavans, I disappeared. O Bhagavan, again in another eight kotis of Buddha-fields, I saw those Tathagatas demonstrating their passing into complete Nirvana, and I also paid homage to those Tathagatas and disappeared. O Bhagavan, again in ninety-five kotis of Buddha-fields, I saw the Holy Dharma disappearing, and O Bhagavan, I shed tears as I thought of this. Furthermore, I saw gods, nagas, yakshas, rakshasas, and many desire-realm beings with form crying and being pierced by great pangs of sorrow. and all without exception were burned, and I prostrated to it, feeling hopeless and existing. O Blessed One, before I reached the world of Padmasambhava, I saw five hundred billion trillion thrones arranged by the Blessed One. In the south, there were a billion trillion thrones arranged; in the north, there were a billion trillion thrones arranged; in the east, there were a billion trillion thrones arranged; in the west, there were a billion trillion thrones arranged; and in the upper direction, I saw a billion trillion thrones arranged. O Blessed One, those arranged thrones were all made of the seven precious substances. On all those thrones, the Tathagatas resided and taught the Dharma. O Blessed One, I was amazed by that, and I asked those Tathagatas, 'O Blessed One, what is the name of this world?' Those Tathagatas replied, 'Son of noble family, this world is called Padmasambhava.' O Blessed One, then I circumambulated those Tathagatas and asked, 'What is the name of the Tathagata of this Buddha-field?' They replied, 'The Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha is called Lotus Essence, and he performs the deeds of a Buddha in this Buddha-field.' Then I prayed thus, 'Even though there are many billions of Buddhas, what if one does not know the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha called Lotus Essence?' O Blessed One, they replied, 'Son of noble family, I have shown you the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha called Lotus Essence.' Then all those Tathagatas' bodies disappeared, and only the forms of Bodhisattvas remained. Only one Tathagata remained, and I bowed my head at the feet of that Tathagata, and as I was there, a throne appeared, and I sat on that throne. O Blessed One, at that time, many thrones appeared, but I did not see anyone sitting on those thrones, so I said to that Tathagata,

མས་ཅན་འགའ་ཡང་མ་མཆིས་མ་མཐོང་ངོ་ཞེས་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། སེམས་ཅན་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་མ་བསྐྱེད་པ་རྣམས་ནི་ཁྲི་འདི་དག་ལ་འདུག་པའི་མཐུ་མེད་དོ། །གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་ཅི་ཞིག་བསྐྲུན་ན་ཁྲི་དེ་དག་ལ་མཆིས་པར་འགྱུར། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་ཉོན་ཅིག་སེམས་ཅན་གང་དག་ཟུང་གི་མདོའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་ཐོས་པ་དེ་དག་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་དེས་ཁྲི་དེ་དག་ལ་འདུག་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། གང་དག་ཡི་གེར་འདྲི་བ་དང་། ཀློག་པ་ལྟ་ཅི་སྨོས། ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔའ་བ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཟུང་གི་མདོའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་ཐོས་པས་ཁྱོད་ཁྲི་འདི་ལ་འདུག་པར་གྱུར་གྱི་དེ་ལྟ་མ་ཡིན་ན་ཁྱོད་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་འདིའི་ནང་དུ་ཆུད་པར་ག་ལ་འགྱུར། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་ལ་བདག་གིས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གང་ཟུང་གི་མདོའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདི་ཐོས་པ་དེ་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོ་ཇི་ཙམ་ཞིག་བསྐྱེད་པར་འགྱུར། དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་པད་མའི་སྙིང་པོ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་འཛུམ་པ་མཛད་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་ཅིའི་སླད་དུ་འཛུམ་པ་མཛད་པ་བདག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་ལ་ཞུས་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྒྱུ་གང་དང་ཇི་ཞིག་གི་སླད་དུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་འཛུམ་པ་མཛད། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་པོ་ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔའ་བ་མཐུ་ཆེན་པོ་ཐོབ་པ་ཉོན་ཅིག །འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། དཔེར་ན་ལ་ལ་ཞིག་གླིང་བཞི་ལ་དབང་བའི་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོར་གྱུར་ལ། དེས་གླིང་བཞིའི་ཞིང་རྣམས་ལ་ཏིལ་བཏབ་ན། ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔའ་བ་འདི་ཇི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས། དེའི་ས་བོན་མང་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་ཡིན་ནམ། ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔའ་བས་གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མང་ལགས་སོ། །བདེ་བར་གཤེགས་པ་མང་ལགས་སོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔའ་བ་དེ་ལས་སེམས་ཅན་ལ་ལ་ཞིག་གིས་ཏིལ་གྱི་འབྲུ་དེ་དག་ཕུང་པོ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བྱས་ལ་མི་གཞན་ཞིག་གིས་ཏིལ་གྱི་འབྲུའི་ཕུང་པོ་དེ་ལས་ཏིལ་གྱི་འབྲུ་རེ་རེ་ནས་བླངས་ཏེ་ཕྱོགས་གཞན་དུ་ འཇོག་ན། ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔའ་བ་འདི་ཇི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས། སེམས་ཅན་དེས་ཏིལ་གྱི་འབྲུ་དེ་དག་བགྲང་བའམ་དཔེ་བྱ་ནུས་སམ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔའ་བས་གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་མ་ལགས་སོ། །བདེ་བར་གཤེགས་པ་དེ་མ་ལགས་སོ། །ཏིལ་གྱི་འབྲུ་དེ་དག་བགྲང་བའམ། དཔེ་བགྱི་བར་རྔོ་མི་ཐོགས་སོ།

祈请说：“没有见到任何有情能坐于其上。” 世尊开示说：“没有积聚善根的有情，没有能力坐于这些宝座上。” 祈请说：“世尊，积聚何种善根才能坐于这些宝座上？” 世尊开示说：“种姓之子，谛听！凡是听闻《双经》法类名称的有情，凭借此善根便能坐于这些宝座上。更何况是书写和读诵者呢？ 勇猛者，你因听闻《双经》法类名称，才能坐于此宝座上，否则你怎能进入此佛土之中？” 世尊如是开示后，我向世尊祈请说：“世尊，凡是听闻此《双经》法类名称者，将积聚多少福德资粮？” 之后，世尊莲花藏如来现出微笑。我向世尊请问世尊为何微笑：“世尊，以何因缘，为何如来现出微笑？” 世尊开示说：“种姓之子，谛听大菩萨摩诃萨勇猛者，获得大威力者。 例如，某人成为统治四大部洲的转轮圣王，他在四大部洲的田地里播种芝麻。 勇猛者，你认为如何？ 那些种子会生长很多吗？” 勇猛者回答说：“世尊，很多。善逝，很多。” 世尊开示说：“勇猛者，相比之下，如果某个有情将那些芝麻粒聚集成堆，另一个人从那堆芝麻粒中一颗一颗地取出，放到其他地方。 勇猛者，你认为如何？ 那个有情能数清或比量那些芝麻粒吗？” 菩萨勇猛者回答说：“世尊，不能。善逝，不能。数清或比量那些芝麻粒是不可能的。”

He requested, "I have not seen any sentient beings who can sit on them." The Blessed One declared, "Sentient beings who have not accumulated roots of virtue do not have the power to sit on these thrones." He requested, "Blessed One, what roots of virtue must be accumulated to be able to sit on these thrones?" The Blessed One declared, "Son of good family, listen! Those sentient beings who have heard the name of the Dharma category of the Twin Sutra will be able to sit on these thrones by that root of virtue. What need is there to mention those who write and recite it? Courageous One, because you have heard the name of the Dharma category of the Twin Sutra, you have become able to sit on this throne; otherwise, how could you enter into this Buddha-field?" After the Blessed One had declared this, I requested of the Blessed One, "Blessed One, how much accumulation of merit will be generated by one who hears this name of the Dharma category of the Twin Sutra?" Then, the Blessed One, the Lotus Heart Thus-Gone-One, smiled. I asked the Blessed One why the Blessed One smiled, "Blessed One, for what reason and for what purpose does the Thus-Gone-One smile?" The Blessed One declared, "Son of good family, listen, Bodhisattva, great being, Courageous One, who has obtained great power! For example, if someone becomes a wheel-turning monarch who rules over the four continents, and he sows sesame in the fields of the four continents, Courageous One, what do you think? Will those seeds grow a lot?" The Courageous One replied, "Blessed One, a lot. Well-Gone One, a lot." The Blessed One declared, "Courageous One, compared to that, if a certain sentient being gathers those sesame seeds into a single heap, and another person takes sesame seeds one by one from that heap of sesame seeds and places them in another place, Courageous One, what do you think? Can that sentient being count or measure those sesame seeds?" The Bodhisattva Courageous One replied, "Blessed One, that is not so. Well-Gone One, that is not so. It is impossible to count or measure those sesame seeds."
