To the past Bhagavan, I offer these gardens, these temples, these walking places, these bedding, these seats, these sangharamas. For the sake of serving and honoring, I also offer myself. Steadfast Intelligence, then that king, after that, served and honored the Tathagata, and also, for the sake of listening to the Dharma, respectfully departed as if for a day. Steadfast Intelligence, then that king, the un-despised Lord of Merit, served the Bhagavan for half a kalpa, and also completely inquired of the Tathagata about places and non-places. He also completely inquired, and when the Bhagavan answered, he benefited countless immeasurable beings. Steadfast Intelligence, at that time, at that time, if you doubt or have misgivings that the king called the un-despised Lord of Merit was someone else, you should not view it that way. Why is that? Steadfast Intelligence, because that king called the un-despised Lord of Merit is you yourself. Steadfast Intelligence, I know that in the past, for the sake of completely inquiring about that Dharma category, you manifestly knew that a complete thousand Buddhas had arisen, to whom you gave unsurpassed service and honor. Steadfast Intelligence, that which you have spoken of as accomplishing the door of Dharma, and how the manifest accomplishment of the door of Dharma will be shown to you. Steadfast Intelligence, the so-called door of Dharma is places and bases, and these are without mind, without characteristics, without effort, pure, completely pure, utterly pure, inexpressible, without letters, completely contrary to letters, and un-demonstrable. Steadfast Intelligence, also, Dharma does not appear, and Dharma is not to be distinguished by knowledge. Steadfast Intelligence, also, the so-called door of Dharma is that which was done by the Tathagata, by which he fully knows nirvana; how he fully knows, and by what he fully knows, I am unable to distinguish.

Wisdom, those dharmas are not to be identified, nor are they to be established. Steadfast wisdom, and where the path of establishment lies, that is the door of dharma. Steadfast wisdom, all dharmas are of one taste, like the seal of the ocean. Steadfast wisdom, all dharmas are of endless boundaries, possessing endless ends, therefore they are inexhaustible. Steadfast wisdom, all dharmas are without fullness or depletion, therefore they become the very nature of inexhaustibility. Therefore, the Tathagata also establishes the accomplishment of the inexhaustible door. Shows, completely establishes. All dharmas are characterized by the door called "A" (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A). Entering the place called "A" is the door of no characteristics, the place of explanation of establishment. Its manifest accomplishment is connection. There, the connecting letters have not made the name "A", therefore dharma is called the name "A". It identifies with the name "A", and that identification is also fully equipped with its connecting words and letters. Therefore, the Tathagata said: All dharmas are characterized by the door called "A". Whose door is that, and what are those dharmas? Steadfast wisdom, those dharmas are uncreated. The uncreated is not identification, therefore the unestablished is not identification, identification is the unspeakable speaking, the unmanifest manifesting, the inexhaustible exhausting. Steadfast wisdom, thus "A" is the agent of all dharmas. Son or daughter of the lineage, entering which door will obtain inexhaustible wisdom and inexhaustible fearlessness, that door is the door called "A". Steadfast wisdom, inexhaustibility is transcendence of exhaustion. Steadfast wisdom, where there is no establishment, no identification is exhaustion, whoever takes what is not identification as identification, those are not identified, whoever establishes those are not unestablished, steadfast wisdom, therefore that door is called exhaustion. Whose door is that? It is the door of those dharmas. Whose is it? All
