In that speaker and that seat, all dharmas are taught only in a non-literal way. Steadfast Wisdom, since it is taught that those dharmas have no limit and no end, how can anyone enter that gate of non-letters? This is its entry. That entry is not an entry into any dharma. Steadfast Wisdom, the Tathagata has spoken of the practice of the door of samadhi, so what is the practice of samadhi? Steadfast Wisdom, there is a samadhi called "all dharmas arranged as one," and there is also a samadhi called "various arrangements." Among them, what is the samadhi called "arranged as one"? Steadfast Wisdom, here, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva in a world realm called so-and-so, hears a Tathagata called so-and-so teaching the Dharma. Having heard the name of that Tathagata, he grasps it well through the door of names, places the image of the name before him, and makes it manifest. He remembers that Tathagata residing on the supreme Bodhi tree seat, or attaining the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, or turning the wheel of Dharma, or being surrounded by the assembly of Shravakas, or merely teaching the Dharma, with his mind not distracted, his senses not unrestrained, and his mind not wandering outward, he attends to it. He remembers the name of that Tathagata and places the focus on the world realm before him. His focus on the Tathagata and his focus on the world realm are like this: through non-focus itself, he realizes that focus is one. As he abides in this way, not abandoning that practice, the body of the Tathagata will appear. He attends to the Dharma teaching, and in whatever way he believes in depth, clarity, meaning, and words, he places it before him in the same way. Abiding in that samadhi, through the extinction of all things, he listens to the Dharma taught by the Tathagata. He receives and holds all those Dharma teachings. Having received and held them,

Also, after arising from that samadhi, he teaches the Dharma to the four assemblies. This entry and that object are like this: it is the manifestation of the one-aspect samadhi. Furthermore, Steadfast Intellect, the bodhisattva also destroys that object and also destroys his own body. He enters the one-aspect samadhi by the very nature of the destruction of all things. After arising from that, he also teaches the Dharma to the four assemblies. Steadfast Intellect, this is also the manifestation of the one-aspect samadhi. Furthermore, Steadfast Intellect, the bodhisattva individually contemplates the object of the body of the Tathagata in this way. From where did the body of the Tathagata come? And where will I go? He thoroughly knows that the Tathagata will not come in the future, and he also thoroughly knows that he himself will not go. He thinks like this: all dharmas have no coming and no going. He abides like that and strives like that, and before long, he obtains the unobstructed Dharma eye. Having obtained that unobstructed Dharma eye, he is the Tathagata, manifesting the Dharma door of obtaining fearlessness without attachment to any Dharma. He also teaches the Dharma, but he does not truly see those Dharmas. Steadfast Intellect, for example, in the past, the wisdom of the Tathagata enters without attachment, but in all bodies, the wisdom of the Tathagata is also unimpeded. The wisdom of the Tathagata does not enter through the door of focusing on the past, and although the wisdom of the Tathagata does not enter the past, the Tathagata in the past possesses wisdom, and it is also not the case that the body of the object of the Tathagata in the past is followed. The future and the present are also the same. Steadfast Intellect, in that way, that bodhisattva, abiding in the one-aspect samadhi, also teaches the Dharma, but he does not truly see those Dharmas. He intensely cultivates samadhi.
