“是的。”說道：“那些年輕人是從我被砍斷的手足和肢體中顯現出來的血河啊。年輕人，你看到那四座像須彌山一樣的頭骨之山了嗎？”說道：“沒有看到。”說道：“唉，年輕人，我行菩薩行時，被砍下的頭顱就有那麼多啊！唉，年輕人，你看到那四座沒有手、沒有腳、眼睛被挖出、手足和肢體被砍成各種形狀的屍體之山了嗎？”說道：“看到了。”說道：“年輕人，那些是我以前行菩薩行時，捨棄的手足和肢體啊。年輕人，你看到四方的夜叉眾了嗎？”說道：“沒有看到。”說道：“年輕人，那些巨大而可怕的夜叉眾，是奪取發起菩提心者的光輝的啊！那些是從發起菩提心者的頭部開始，直到手足和肢體都進行擾亂的啊！年輕人，當我以前發起菩提心的時候，那些夜叉眾就擾亂並砍斷了我的頭部，直到手足和肢體都被砍斷啊！”然後，魔王忘我再次幻化出眾多羅剎的隊伍，又說道：“年輕人，你看到那些眾多的羅剎隊伍了嗎？”說道：“沒有看到。”說道：“年輕人，那些羅剎是奪取那些發起菩提心，住在胎中的眾生的光輝的啊！在胎中時，他們也會奪走菩薩的性命啊！年輕人，無論何時我發起菩提心，都無法從那些痛苦中完全解脫，他們總是跟隨著我。年輕人，因此我無法忍受那些痛苦，所以從無上正等正覺中退轉了。當我的心從菩提心中退轉的時候，我就從那些痛苦中完全解脫，並且沒有任何損害了。年輕人，因此我勸你

"Yes." He said, "Those youths are the rivers of blood manifested from my severed hands, feet, and limbs. Young man, do you see those four mountains of skulls, as large as Mount Meru?" He said, "No, I do not see them." He said, "Alas, young man, when I practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, that is how many heads were severed! Alas, young man, do you see those four mountains of corpses with no hands, no feet, eyes gouged out, and limbs and extremities severed in various ways?" He said, "I see them." He said, "Young man, those are the hands, feet, and limbs that I gave away when I previously practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Young man, do you see the hosts of yakshas in the four directions?" He said, "No, I do not see them." He said, "Young man, those great and terrifying ones are those who steal the splendor of whoever generates the mind for enlightenment! Those are the ones who agitate whoever generates the mind for enlightenment, from the head down to the limbs and extremities! Young man, when I previously generated the mind for enlightenment, those ones agitated and severed my head, and severed me down to my limbs and extremities!" Then, the demon Forgetting-Me again manifested many hosts of rakshasas and again said, "Young man, do you see those many hosts of rakshasas?" He said, "No, I do not see them." He said, "Young man, those are the ones who steal the splendor of those who generate the mind for enlightenment and dwell in the womb! Even while in the womb, they take the life of the Bodhisattva! Young man, whenever I generate the mind for enlightenment, I am not completely liberated from those sufferings; to that extent, they follow after me. Young man, therefore, I could not endure those sufferings, and I turned my mind away from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment! 此后，因为希望利益、成就和安乐，这个年轻人说：‘年轻人，你不要发起无上正等菩提心啊！年轻人，你不要遭受那样的痛苦啊！’这样说道。然后，国王的年轻人忆念忆起，心想：‘在如来功德王光面前，我发起了无上正等菩提心。而这个人却想让我从无上正等菩提心中退转。以人的相貌来看，这个人是魔吗？或者这个人是被魔加持了吗？即使不是这样也不行。又或者这个人是菩萨，然后他因为获得懈怠而退转了菩提心。因为如果这个人遇到那样的痛苦，从乞讨肢体和器官，直到失去生命为止的乞讨者会来那么多，那么以前这个人一定是做了罪恶的业。’那些乞讨者是对我的无上正等菩提有帮助的。那是因为，那些众生是不懂事的，并且是守护完全不懂事的。由于贪欲的控制，嗔恨的控制，愚痴的控制，嫉妒的控制，傲慢的控制，他们会不合时宜地向菩萨、大菩萨们乞讨。如果我对那些众生做世间的真正满足，那我怎么能做超世间的真正满足呢？这个人也是因为没有欲望而懈怠，因为精进微弱，因为不是殊胜的意乐而从无上正等菩提中退转了。唉！我要更加成为具有真正见解的人。我要更加正确地发起精进并安住。即使我的每一次呼吸和每一个元素都与生命分离，我也不会从无上正等 圆满菩提心中退转。我要忍受那么多的生命分离。我

Thereafter, because of wishing benefit, accomplishment, and happiness, this young man said, 'Young man, do not generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment! Young man, do not obtain such suffering!' Thus he spoke. Then, the king's young man, having regained his memory, thought to himself, 'In the presence of the Tathagata, King of Qualities of Light, I generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. And this person is trying to turn me away from the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Judging by his human appearance, is this person a demon? Or has this person been blessed by a demon? Even if it's not that, it's not right. Or perhaps this person is a Bodhisattva, and then he has turned away from the mind of enlightenment because he has obtained laziness. Because if this person encounters such suffering, so many beggars will come, from those who beg for limbs and organs to those who cause the loss of life, then this person must have previously done sinful deeds.' Those beggars are helpful to my unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Why is that? Because those sentient beings are ignorant and are protectors of complete ignorance. Due to the control of desire, the control of hatred, the control of delusion, the control of jealousy, and the control of pride, they will untimely beg from Bodhisattvas, great Bodhisattvas. If I were to give those sentient beings worldly true satisfaction, how could I give transcendental true satisfaction? This person has also turned away from unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment because of laziness due to lack of desire, because of weak diligence, and because of not having superior intention. Alas! I must become even more a person with true view. I must even more correctly undertake diligence and abide. Even if my every breath and every element were to separate from life, I will not turn away my mind from unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. I must endure so many separations from life. I
