Likewise, Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, as soon as he generated the mind of enlightenment, turned the wheel of Dharma. To the Buddhas, the Bhagavat who had appeared, he requested the Bhagavat to teach the Dharma, urged and prayed for the Bhagavat to turn the wheel of Dharma. Whatever roots of virtue he accumulated through this, he dedicated them entirely to praying for the turning of the wheel of Dharma, without dedicating them to anything else. Sharadvatiputra, for that meaning to be perfectly accomplished, I will give you an example. Sharadvatiputra, the three thousand great thousand world realms, that world is where a hundred billion moons and a hundred billion suns move, the surroundings of the four great continents have a hundred billion great oceans, a hundred billion four continents, continents seventy kotis, the king of encircling mountains, Mount Sumeru, a hundred billion, and the inner environment, a hundred billion. Sharadvatiputra, the three thousand great thousand world realms, if fully measured, are like this: for example, the great ocean has eighty-four thousand yojanas, and the height also becomes that much. Sharadvatiputra, from then on, the three thousand great thousand world realms are filled with mustard seeds, and then there appears a person with strength, power, and diligence. He takes a handful from that great pile of mustard seeds and scatters it in the four directions, and it is blown away by the wind. If he takes each mustard seed and throws it into each world realm, Sharadvatiputra, what do you think? How many world realms would each mustard seed occupy? When he said this, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said to the Bhagavat: Bhagavat, it is immeasurable. Sugata, it is immeasurable. The Buddha said: Sharadvatiputra, you should believe and understand. Sharadvatiputra, how many world realms are completely occupied by mustard seeds, all of those become one great city, and how large is the circumference of that great city, the height is also that much.

That. Its walls are strong and unbreakable, and so are these. Sharadvatiputra, for example, a great city, like a vessel filled with grain, filled with sand. Sharadvatiputra, what do you think? How many piles of sand would there be? He replied: Lord, countless. Sugata, countless. The Lord said: Sharadvatiputra, you should believe, you should understand. A mathematician or a great mathematician may be able to measure the piles of sand; but those Bodhisattvas, Mahasattvas, who, when they first generate the mind, turn the wheel of Dharma, first attain perfect enlightenment, and abide at the supreme Bodhi tree, those who please the Lords, exhort and pray to the Lords to turn the wheel of Dharma, the measure of those Tathagatas cannot be measured. Therefore, having made wheels of Dharma made of the seven jewels, they offered them to those extremely numerous Buddhas, the Lords; and having offered wheels of flowers and wheels of incense to those extremely numerous Buddhas, the Lords, if they do not dedicate them to the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, what need is there to say that they offered other wheels made of gold, silver, and wood, adorned with various exquisite ornaments, to the Buddhas, the Lords, when they gave those offerings, for the sake of turning the wheel of Dharma, and for the sake of repeatedly exhorting them, they dedicated them. After that, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, the supreme king who subdues all with supreme power, named the Victorious King, appeared in the world. At that time, there was a king named the Radiantly Blazing Universal Power, who in the three thousand great thousand worlds, had the power to freely rule the wheel-turning monarch of the human race. Whether he is dwelling among his consorts or in the gardens, does he desire to enjoy the pleasures of the senses?
