It is so. Manjushri, thus a Bodhisattva's discipline, enlightenment, sentient beings, etc., the Tathagata is non-dual in them, not to be made dual, thus acting, is acting the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Manjushri, thus a Bodhisattva's patience, enlightenment, sentient beings, etc., the Tathagata, and diligence and enlightenment, sentient beings, etc., the Tathagata, and meditation and enlightenment, sentient beings, etc., the Tathagata, thus wisdom and enlightenment, sentient beings, etc., the Tathagata is non-dual in them, not to be made dual, thus acting, is acting the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Manjushri, if a Bodhisattva does not act with form as emptiness, does not act with non-emptiness, thus acting, Manjushri, a Bodhisattva is acting the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Manjushri, form is empty by its own nature of form. Manjushri, thus if a Bodhisattva does not act with feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness as emptiness, does not act with non-emptiness, thus acting, a Bodhisattva is acting the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Manjushri, because mind, intellect, and consciousness have no object, therefore whatever phenomena are to be fully known, to be abandoned, to be cultivated, to be directly realized, those are all non-existent. Manjushri, what is called exhaustion is only ultimate exhaustion. What is called ultimate exhaustion is not exhaustible. Because it is not exhaustible, it is inexhaustible. Why is that? Manjushri, that is exhausted as it is, and what is exhausted as it is has no exhaustion whatsoever, and what has no exhaustion whatsoever is unconditioned, and what is unconditioned has neither birth nor cessation. Therefore, whether the Tathagatas appear or not, the nature of phenomena, the abiding of phenomena, and the realm of phenomena are only abiding.

Just as it abides in the realm of Dharma, so too, knowledge does not enter or revert. Just as knowledge does not enter or revert, such entry into the nature of Dharma does not generate defilements, nor does it cease. Manjushri, what is called the exhaustion of defilements is merely terminology, sound, letters, and designation. In this, there is no phenomenon that arises or ceases. Then, Manjushri, having become a youth, arose from his seat, bared one shoulder, knelt on his right knee on the ground, and, with palms joined, bowed towards where the Blessed One was. He praised the Blessed One with these verses: You have no color, sign, or form, You have no root, no place to abide. You have no arising or ceasing, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You have no abiding place, no dwelling, You have no taking or abandoning. Liberated from the six sense sources, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You do not abide in any phenomena, You have completely abandoned existence and non-existence. You have attained the equality of all actions, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You are completely liberated from the three realms, You have realized equality like the sky. You are not stained by any desires, I prostrate to you, who are without support. In all forms of conduct, Going, staying, and sleeping, You always remain in equanimity, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You come equally and go equally, You abide in equality itself. You are equal and do not disturb, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You have entered into equality itself, You have placed all phenomena in equality. You have entered into the signless, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You have no abiding or object of focus, You have accumulated wisdom and remain in equanimity. You have attained mastery over the Dharma, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You see the sounds of all sentient beings, Likewise, their forms and conduct, In a single instant, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You are liberated from name and form, You have cut off all causes and aggregates. You enter into the formless, I prostrate to you, who are without support. You are separated from signs and characteristics, You have completely abandoned the appearance of signs. You enter into the signless, I prostrate to you, who are without
