Compared to a Bodhisattva who places all beings in the fruit of once-returner, if another Bodhisattva places one being in the fruit of non-returner, then he will generate immeasurably more merit. Manjushri, if a certain Bodhisattva places all the beings of the ten directions' world-realms in the fruit of non-returner, compared to that, if another Bodhisattva places one being in the state of Arhat, then he will generate immeasurably more merit. Manjushri, if a certain Bodhisattva places all the beings of the ten directions' world-realms in the state of Arhat, compared to that, if another Bodhisattva places one being in the state of Pratyekabuddha, then he will generate immeasurably more merit. Manjushri, if a certain Bodhisattva places all the beings of the ten directions' world-realms in the state of Pratyekabuddha, compared to that, if another Bodhisattva places one being in the mind of Bodhi, then he will generate immeasurably more merit. Manjushri, if a certain Bodhisattva places all the beings of the ten directions' world-realms in the mind of Bodhi, compared to that, if another Bodhisattva places one being in the state of non-retrogression, then he will generate immeasurably more merit. Manjushri, if a certain Bodhisattva places all the beings of the ten directions' world-realms in the state of non-retrogression, compared to that, if another Bodhisattva has faith in this Dharma discourse, writes it down and causes others to write it down, and extensively and truthfully explains it to others, and even causes one being to enter this Dharma discourse, then he will generate immeasurably more merit. 如果有人这样做，那比这功德更加殊胜超胜。如果有人以神通力前往十方，供养百千万亿佛，生起慈悲心，对一切安乐无有贪著，胜过顶礼一切圣士。如果有人对善逝之教生起极大信心，对此祈愿诸佛之法的经部，为他人稍微宣说一下，那比这功德果报更加殊胜超胜。此善逝教法的经部如同明灯，无论谁为天与人如实开示，那人将具有敏锐的智慧和强大的力量，并且能够迅速获得诸佛的果位。无论谁听到善逝佛陀等无余涅槃之音，并为其他众生如实宣说，胜过建造高耸入云、直达有顶的佛塔，其规模也如实等同有顶天，用珍宝装饰，配有伞盖、幡幢以及悦耳的铃声。如果菩萨听到这样的经部，并能将其铭记于心，或者想要抄写成书，那他的功德果报将更加殊胜超胜。如果一位清除了吝啬之垢、无所畏惧的菩萨，受持此法，那他的功德将无法估量，并且能够如愿获得菩提。此经为诸善逝所赞叹，为众多菩萨所受持。诸如来之身，如同虚空之界，一切皆在此处宣示。世尊如是宣说之后，菩萨摩诃萨妙吉祥童子，以及无量无数不可思议不可言说的菩萨和声闻大弟子，还有天、人、阿修罗、迦楼罗、乾闼婆等世间众生皆大欢喜，对世尊所说之法表示赞叹。

If one does so, it is even more meritorious and excellent than that. If one goes to the ten directions with the power of magical abilities, makes offerings to hundreds of thousands of billions of Buddhas, generates compassion, and is without attachment to all happiness, it is better than prostrating to all noble beings. If one has great faith in the teachings of the Sugata, and this sutra that aspires to the Dharma of the Victorious Ones, if one teaches it to others even for a moment, it is even more meritorious and excellent in its fruit than that. This sutra of the Sugata's teachings is like a lamp. Whoever correctly teaches it to gods and humans will have sharp wisdom and great power, and will quickly attain Buddhahood. Whoever hears the sound of the Sugata Buddhas and other beings passing into complete Nirvana without remainder, and correctly proclaims it to other sentient beings, is superior to building a stupa that is tall and reaches the peak of existence, with a scale equal to the peak of existence, adorned with precious jewels, and equipped with umbrellas, banners, and pleasant-sounding bells. If a Bodhisattva hears such a sutra, and keeps it in mind, or wants to write it down as a book, then the fruit of their merit will be even more excellent. If a Bodhisattva who has cleared away the stain of stinginess and is fearless upholds this Dharma, then their merit will be immeasurable, and they will attain enlightenment as they wish. This sutra is praised by the Sugatas and upheld by many Bodhisattvas. The bodies of the Tathagatas, like the realm of space, are all taught here. After the Bhagavan spoke thus, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Manjushri Kumara, and the immeasurable, countless, inconceivable, and inexpressible Bodhisattvas and great Shravakas, as well as the world with gods, humans, asuras, garudas, and gandharvas, rejoiced and praised what the Bhagavan had said.
