The venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana replied: Blessed One, very well. Then, the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana, following the Blessed One's instructions, arrived at the water's edge of the dragon king Anavatapta's abode. Then, the dragon king Anavatapta, knowing that the Blessed One was coming with the assembly of śrāvakas, manifested about five hundred seats made of the seven precious materials: gold, silver, beryl, crystal, red pearl, coral, and agate. In the center of those five hundred seats, a seat made of the seven precious materials was prepared for the Blessed One, and it was covered with dragon silk. Then, the dragon king Anavatapta, along with his retinue of dragon daughters, went to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One, knowing that the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana had finished eating and washed his bowl and hands, said: Maudgalyāyana, go and tell the venerable Śāriputra that the Teacher is calling you. The venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana replied: Blessed One, very well. He said: Venerable Maudgalyāyana, look at this belt for a moment, whether you can lift it with strength, and whether I can lift it with strength. He blessed that belt to seven worlds. 然后龙王美乐这样说道。如果世尊为我开许机会，我想向世尊如来请教一些方面。佛陀说道：美乐，我将为你预言，因此一切都应给予机会。偈颂：向带来安乐的导师请教，在修行时做了什么？通过安乐之道达到寂灭，请预言赐予安乐的善逝。向无热恼龙族的世界怙主请教，善逝作了预言。以善业的果报令人满意，以何种安乐生出安乐逝者？在以前的生命中修行时，使所有众生都因安乐而拥有安乐。因为他做了那件善事，通过安乐之道就能达到寂灭。听到导师的话语，美乐非常高兴，他立刻在地上跪下，以无法估量的喜悦之心，以虔诚之心，向世间的明灯导师顶礼。向导师的智慧和贤能顶礼，向从一切众生中解脱出来者顶礼，向无畏的清净智慧顶礼，向非他者的善逝之语顶礼。然后龙王天美以偈颂的音调向世尊请教：拥有光辉和美丽的眼睛，拥有美好的眼睛，智慧善良，从烦恼的集合中解脱出来，对于拥有无垢智慧之境的您，请问修行时如何获得无上解脱？为了包括天神在内的世间众生的利益，如何修行才能获得寂静的菩提？请您为我讲述，人中之尊，我的修行和训练，以及那些超越意念的事情。胜者调伏了粉碎尘垢的感官，心从欲望的束缚中解脱出来，随顺着意念的真谛，心怀平静而不被打扰者作了预言：智者为了修行善法，即使为了生命也不会退缩，始终以无烦恼之心修行，身语意共同修行善法。因为他做了那件善事，对于轮回中的众生来说，修行是完全清净的，就像莲花从水中生长出来一样，没有沾染，并且真正成就菩提。安乐

Then the Dragon King Delightful Beauty spoke thus: "If the Blessed One would grant me an opportunity, I would like to ask the Blessed One, the Tathagata, about some matters." The Buddha said: "Delightful Beauty, I will prophesy for your request, therefore everything should be given an opportunity." Verses: Asking the teacher who brings happiness, what did he do during his practice? Reaching nirvana through the path of happiness, please prophesy about the Sugata who bestows happiness. Asking the world protector of the Anavatapta dragon race, the Sugata prophesied. With the fruit of virtuous deeds, pleasing the mind, with what happiness does one generate the Sugata? In previous lives, when practicing, he made all beings happy with happiness. Because he did that good deed, he will reach nirvana through the path of happiness. Hearing the teacher's words, Delightful Beauty was very happy, he immediately knelt on the ground, with immeasurable joy in his heart, with devotion, he prostrated to the world's lamp, the teacher. I prostrate to the teacher's wisdom and skill, I prostrate to the one who is liberated from all beings, I prostrate to the fearless pure wisdom, I prostrate to the Sugata's words that are not other. Then the Dragon King Celestial Beauty asked the Blessed One in the tune of verses: Possessing radiant and beautiful eyes, possessing excellent eyes, wise and virtuous, liberated from the collection of afflictions, to you who possess the realm of immaculate wisdom, I ask, how does one attain unsurpassed liberation during practice? For the benefit of the world including the gods, how should one practice to attain peaceful enlightenment? Please tell me, the supreme among humans, about my practice and training, and those things that transcend thought. The Victor subdued the senses that crush dust, the mind is liberated from the bonds of desire, following the truth of thought, the one with a peaceful and undisturbed mind prophesied: The wise one, for the sake of practicing virtue, will not retreat even for life, always practicing with a mind free from afflictions, body, speech, and mind jointly practicing virtue. Because he did that good deed, for the beings in samsara, the practice is completely pure, just as a lotus grows out of water, without being stained, and truly attains enlightenment. Happiness
