descend. Some shower down rains of jewels, some shower down rains of gold, some shower down rains of silver, some shower down rains of fragrant water, some send down hail and cool breezes. Some carry the earth on their shoulders, some carry the pouring of water into the great ocean. Some ride in chariots, some ride in elephant chariots, some ride in horse chariots. Some manifest dragon chariots, some manifest vase chariots, some manifest yaksha chariots, some manifest gandharva chariots. Some manifest pairs of miracles. Some blaze fire from their own bodies, some drip water from their own bodies. They and others with various kinds of miraculous transformations entered the sandalwood cloisters and mansions. The Blessed One, holding his own form, was perfectly adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great being, and embellished with the eighty excellent signs. Beautiful and pleasing, his senses were peaceful, his mind was peaceful, tamed, and he had attained the sacred abode of peace. Tamed, he had gone to the other shore of supreme peace. The lord of the Sahā world, Brahmā, and the lord of the gods, Indra, and the four great kings, and a thousand sons of the gods from the pure abodes paid homage. Raining down streams of nectar as offerings, raining down rains of mandārava flowers, they entered the sandalwood cloisters and mansions. Thus, the Blessed One, together with the assembly of śrāvakas, made beings rejoice and entered the sandalwood cloisters and mansions. Brahmins and householders who were going to the other shore of virtue saw the Blessed One descending from the sky together with the assembly of śrāvakas, like seeing the great king of swans. Tens of thousands of beings arose with the Dharma eye, without dust, without stain, and completely pure, towards the dharmas. Those tens of thousands of beings who had served the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, of the past, seeing the miraculous displays of the Blessed One, generated the mind of bodhi, they towards bodhi.
