Householder, that which is knowing, seeing, clear, manifest, rightly understood, and wise is called the knowledge of the power of life. The Tathagata knows it perfectly as it is. When the Tathagata, the knowledge of the power of life, is asked again, from answering in kalpas, thus combine it. That will be enjoyed in this sandalwood courtyard and between the mansions. Householder, how does the Tathagata know the arising of the knowledge of the power of life as it is? Householder, the Tathagata knows it thus: Having generated roots of virtue in immeasurable Buddhas, the arising of the knowledge of the power of life is truly accomplished, the Tathagata knows it perfectly as it is. Householder, furthermore, the Tathagata knows it thus: By what cause and what condition does the arising of the knowledge of the power of life truly accomplish, the Tathagata knows those causes and those conditions as they are. If abiding in following impermanence, until if abiding in following cessation, the Tathagata knows it perfectly as it is.

Householder, here the Tathagata knows it thoroughly: He benefits countless sentient beings and averts what is not beneficial. He creates light and dispels darkness. He liberates countless sentient beings from suffering and places them in happiness. This is the wisdom of the Lord of Life, the wisdom of cessation. It is also the nature of the unborn from the beginning. This is called the wisdom of the Lord of Life, the wisdom of cessation, which the Tathagata truly knows. If one dwells in contemplation without tasting, or if one dwells in contemplation of faults, or if one dwells in contemplation of definite departure, the Tathagata truly knows it. When the Tathagata asked the Lord of Life Wisdom, the Wisdom of the Path to Cessation, again, the answer was given from the kalpa: "Combine it in this way. That is, one will enjoy the space between the sandalwood courtyard and the mansion." Householder, how does the Tathagata truly know the Lord of Bliss Wisdom?
