It is the nature of the earth. What is knowledge, seeing, clarity, realization, truly understanding, and wisdom? It is knowing the cessation of not liking many things, which is called knowledge. The Tathagata truly knows this as it is. If someone asks the Tathagata about the cessation of knowing not liking many things, answering from the kalpa, he will enjoy himself between the sandalwood cloister and the pavilion. Householder, how does the Tathagata truly know the path of knowing the cessation of not liking many things? Householder, here, the Tathagata fully knows, understands, and directly realizes the cessation of knowing not liking many things with the knowledge of what, and truly knows this cessation of knowledge as it is. If one dwells in the contemplation of tastelessness, or dwells in the contemplation of faults, or dwells in the contemplation of definite departure, the Tathagata truly knows this as it is. If someone asks the Tathagata about the path of knowing the cessation of not liking many things, answering from the kalpa, he will enjoy himself between the sandalwood cloister and the pavilion. Householder, how does the Tathagata truly know knowing various preferences? Householder, here, the Tathagata knows as follows: These sentient beings like blue, these sentient beings like yellow, these sentient beings like red, these sentient beings like white, these sentient beings like various things. Householder, thus the Tathagata truly knows knowing various preferences as it is. If someone asks the Tathagata about knowing various preferences, answering from the kalpa, connect it in the same way, he will enjoy himself between the sandalwood cloister and the pavilion. Householder, how does the Tathagata truly know knowing the arising of knowing various preferences? Householder, here, the Tathagata knows as follows:

knowing. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, having generated roots of virtue for immeasurable beings, the Tathagata knows as it is the perfect accomplishment of the knowledge of the arising of the knowledge of understanding various differences. Householder, furthermore, the Tathagata knows in this way: whatever cause and whatever condition cause the knowledge of the arising of the knowledge of understanding various differences to be perfectly accomplished, the Tathagata knows those causes and conditions as they are. If one abides in contemplating impermanence, up to if one abides in contemplating turning back, the Tathagata knows as it is. If someone asks about the Tathagata's knowledge of the arising of the knowledge of understanding various differences, from answering in terms of kalpas, similarly apply it, he will enjoy this between the sandalwood cloister and the mansion. Householder, how does the Tathagata know as it is the knowledge of the cessation of the knowledge of understanding various differences? The Tathagata knows as it is. Householder, here, the Tathagata fully knows the eye sense as it is, knows the arising of the eye sense, knows the cessation of the eye sense, and fully knows the path that leads to the cessation of the eye sense as it is.
