For the immeasurable Buddhas, the Bhagavat, the wisdom of the ripening result of generating roots of virtue, the wisdom of the arising of all, the perfect accomplishment, the Tathagata knows it as it truly is. Householder, furthermore, with what cause and what condition does the Tathagata know the cause and condition by which the wisdom of the ripening result, the wisdom of the arising of all, is perfectly accomplished, as it truly is? If one abides in contemplating impermanence, up to abiding in contemplating cessation, the Tathagata knows it as it truly is. If someone asks the Tathagata about the wisdom of the ripening result, the wisdom of the arising of all, he will answer for an eon, up to answering for countless eons, and his fearlessness will never be exhausted. He will enjoy this space between the sandalwood courtyard and the mansion. Householder, how does the Tathagata know the wisdom of the cessation of the wisdom of the ripening result, as it truly is? Householder, here, the Tathagata thoroughly knows in this way: He has done benefit for immeasurable beings, averted non-benefit, made light, dispelled darkness, completely liberated immeasurable beings from suffering, and placed them in happiness. This is the wisdom of the cessation of the wisdom of the ripening result, and it is also the nature of the Dharma that has not arisen from the beginning. Householder, thus, the Tathagata knows the wisdom of the cessation of the wisdom of the ripening result, as it truly is. If one were to ask the Thus-gone One about knowing the path that leads to the cessation of conditioned things, he would answer for an eon, and even up to countless eons, his eloquence would not be exhausted. He will enjoy this sandalwood hall and the space between the pavilions. Householder, how does the Thus-gone One know the path of all destinations, knowing it as it truly is? Householder, here, the Thus-gone One knows thus: "Entering in this way, one is born in the realm of Yama. Entering in this way, one is born among the Asuras. Entering in this way, one is born as a human," and so on, up to "Entering in this way, one is born in the realm of neither perception nor non-perception." The Tathagata knows the causes and conditions for the perfect accomplishment as they truly are. From abiding in contemplating impermanence to abiding in refuting opponents, the Tathagata knows them as they truly are. If someone asks the Tathagata, who knows the path to all destinations, he answers from eon to eon, even to inexpressible eons, and his eloquence is inexhaustible. He will enjoy himself in this sandalwood courtyard and in the pavilion. Householder, how does the Tathagata truly know the cessation of knowing the path to all destinations? Householder, with what cause and what condition does one know the cessation of knowing the path to all destinations? The Tathagata truly knows those causes and conditions.
