Is the great fear. Whoever follows after the minds of men, I shall make them free from poison and disease. Today, having destroyed all poisons, I make them free from poison. How shall I not be doubtful? Please dispel my doubts. Gods and men are frightened by doubt and double-mindedness. Please report these things to the self-born one. Then, having heard his pleasing words, Seeing the life-god himself dwelling in the sky, Having placed the palms of his ten fingers together on his crown, He asks the Buddha of the god who dwells in the sky: The Buddha who cuts off immeasurable doubts, Where does he dwell? And in which direction shall I go? The supreme among men, the chief, the able one, endowed with the ten powers, I go to him, may I attain my purpose. The one endowed with the ten powers dwells in the eastern king's city, In a place called Peaceful Old. The one who cuts off the doubts of gods and men, Go and report in detail to the self-born king. Then, the chief's son, Sorrowless, having heard the words of that god, that night passed. Together with sixty kotis of thousands of hundreds of kotis of beings, he went to the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Ambrosial Voice, and having arrived there, the chief's son, Sorrowless, saw the Tathagata, the Ambrosial Voice, beautiful, beautiful and excellent, his senses peaceful, his mind peaceful and gentle, having attained the supreme state of peace, gentle and having attained the supreme state of peace, subduing the elephant, like the ocean, clear and free from turbidity, and exceedingly bright. Having seen this, immeasurable joy arose in the presence of the Tathagata, but he did not hear the Dharma for a while. Then he thought to himself: How is your wisdom, may I also become like that. How is your body and speech, may I also become like that. The Tathagata prophesied that he would attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. He offered to the Tathagata, the Ambrosial Voice, a thousand-petaled lotus filled with flowers of the seven precious substances, and praised him with verses: As I have heard, so I have seen, it is better than what I have heard. Thus, I take refuge in you, may I become the supreme among the two-legged. By this root of virtue

As a guide, may I liberate the suffering of helpless and unprotected beings. What do you think, Maudgalyayana's son? At that time, the son of the chief, named 'Dispeller of Sorrow,' came to ask the Tathagata. Having seen him, he was free from doubt. If you think that is someone else, you should not think like that. I was the son of the chief, named 'Dispeller of Sorrow,' at that time. Just by being asked, he was free from doubt. Therefore, just by seeing the Tathagata, I attained the knowledge of the origin of worldly knowledge through faith. Maudgalyayana's son, therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should see him. Maudgalyayana's son, the Bodhisattva who sees him should generate faith in the Buddha and should be diligent in understanding worldly knowledge. Maudgalyayana's son, in order to know the cessation of worldly knowledge, when I practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva in the past, I thought: If I could realize the cessation of worldly knowledge, I would be able to truly explain it to sentient beings. Therefore, I accumulated various kinds of virtuous roots. Maudgalyayana's son, in the past, beyond countless eons ago, there appeared a hermit named Cottage-Born. He went to a solitary place and entered into correct concentration, thinking: How do beings and non-beings transmigrate in samsara? He thought: I should go to the presence of ascetics and Brahmins and ask what is the ultimate truth. At that time, the Tathagata World Lamp appeared in the world, up to the Buddha Bhagavan. The Tathagata World Lamp, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha World Lamp, did not not know, did not not see, did not not comprehend, did not not manifest, did not not fully comprehend, and even up to when he said, "I will explain this," he uttered such a sound.

Then, the sage Drowa Shinkye thought to himself: I should go to the Tathagata and completely inquire. The Blessed One, the Tathagata, will prophesy as it is, and I should grasp the meaning of it as it is. Thinking this, he went to where the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Lamp of the World, was. Having seen the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Lamp of the World, he obtained immeasurable faith. With his mind greatly pleased, he bowed to the feet with his head and sat on one side. Having sat on one side, the sage Drowa Shinkye requested the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Lamp of the World, with a verse: O Supreme among men, Sugata, which sentient beings are born in samsara? Please tell me, where do these groups of beings go? Some say that all things are without cause. My own nature arises and then disappears in this way. Earth goes to earth, and water also goes to water. Fire goes to fire, and wind also goes to wind. There is nothing other than the collection of elements. There, consciousness is seen, and consciousness appears in this way. Some say this, that form has no obstruction to the mind. If they do not seek from where transformation comes, how can I be without doubt and know all dharmas? O Supreme among men, please dispel these doubts of mine. O Lamp, please prophesy with your supreme wisdom. Drowa Shinkye, listen to me as I explain what you have asked. Form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness, these five. These arise dependently, they do not come from elsewhere. Just as clouds in the sky arise and then vanish without a trace. Similarly, you should know this dharma that neither comes nor goes. Then, the sage Drowa Shinkye thought to himself: The wisdom of the Tathagata is equal. How wonderful it is to see the nature of all dharmas! These dharmas neither come from anywhere nor go anywhere. Although they appear to move, they are not born from no cause. They are not born anywhere, nor is there cessation, nor is there movement. Thinking this, he generated the mind of enlightenment with supreme faith: May I also possess this wisdom of the Tathagata in the future, and
