is capable. The training in the Tathagata's individual correct knowledge is just as the example shows. As the example shows, if someone does not understand the limits of the three thousand great thousand worlds, how can his mind, entangled by other immeasurable sinful and unwholesome dharmas, be equal to the qualities of the Buddha? Training in those qualities of the Bodhisattva, because of understanding such a path, cannot delude the world including the gods. Therefore, the Bodhisattva, having died from here, will not turn back from the unexcelled perfect enlightenment, and he thinks like this: Alas, these sentient beings are meaningless, like having their eyes gouged out, indulging in things that do not accord with virtue, and due to the power of evil deeds, if they see a hundred kinds of sense desires, such as forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile objects, they will experience disharmony and fear. They do not truly understand what will necessarily happen. For example, if a person is bitten by a black snake, he thinks that the snake is harmful, but he does not strive to remove the poison from his mind. Similarly, ignorant ordinary people do not strive to remove the afflictions from their minds because of the discomfort with the pleasures of the heavenly realms. Why is that? Because they do not truly understand the cause of suffering. Therefore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva wishes to do what is beneficial for sentient beings and wishes to prevent what is not beneficial, so he should separately understand the afflictions that are the cause of all actions. The son of Maudgalyayana said, I know and see what afflictions cause actions to arise correctly. I also say that I do not know or witness the exhaustion of outflows. If asked what is known and what is seen, it is non-reasoning attention. What is non-reasoning attention? It is the three collections of darkness. What is reasoning attention? It is the three doors of liberation, namely emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. When abiding in emptiness, at that time there is no doubt or hesitation about self and mine, or permanence, or stability, or peace, or reality. Having realized that certain truth, there I
