Praises. Everyone happily circumambulates the supreme city. As the great being departs, the deity of the sacred city also becomes disheartened and comes. Sitting in front, the sentient being weeping with compassion speaks to the lotus-like face: Without you, this naked place is no longer beautiful, and all the cities are enveloped in darkness. Now, if you leave this abode, there will be no one here to bring me joy and happiness. In the future, the clear sounds of the birds, and your endless fame, will no longer have the sweet flute sounds of the consorts awakening you, auspicious sounds, and songs will no longer be heard. If you, who have conquered afflictions, depart, then the gods and accomplished ones who offer umbrellas and make offerings to you will no longer be seen. The scent of the gods will no longer be smelled. Just like wearing a garland for a long time, you are now leaving this palace. Once you leave, there will be no splendor or glory. I can only watch you like watching a play. Having taken away the blessings and power of all the cities, this place is like a temple, no longer beautiful. Who had prophesied that a powerful wheel-turning king would appear here, the sage's prophecies have now become lies. After you, this great tree of merit, appeared, the power of the Shakya clan has also disappeared in this land. The king's palace and retinue will also be cut off. These people of the Shakya clan are very discouraged. Where are you, this stainless and undefiled being, going? I will also go with you. However, please generate compassion and look at this palace. The wise one looked at the home and spoke these words in a sweet voice: Until I have attained the end of birth and death, I will not enter Kapilavastu (ser skya'i grong khyer). Until I have attained the supreme place without old age and death, the immortal, precious Bodhi, I will face Kapilavastu (ser skya'i gnas su), and I will not stand, sit, lie down, or walk. When the lord of beings, the Bodhisattva, appears, when he walks from the sky, the goddesses praise: This is the great place of giving. This is the great field of merit. This is the field of desiring merit. Giving the immortal fruit.
