Although the Indian bulge appears, that India has not moved. It is not there, nor does it come from elsewhere, so assembled things are impermanent and without cessation. Relying on the eye and form, eye consciousness arises here, but the eye does not rely on form, nor does form move to the eye. These selfless, impure things are considered as self and pure, although it is wrong and untrue, eye consciousness arises from it. Consciousness arises after ceasing, and the wise see clearly the arising and ceasing. It has not gone anywhere, nor has it come from anywhere, the yogi sees it as emptiness like illusion. For example, a rubbing wood and a rubbing board, plus the effort of the hand, the three together, relying on them fire arises, and soon after arising it will extinguish. Then some wise people observe, saying where did this come from, and where is it going? Observing in all directions and corners, one cannot determine its origin or destination. The causes of aggregates, sense bases, elements, etc. are ignorance, desire and karma. Although it is said that these aggregates are sentient beings, they are not found in the ultimate truth. Relying on the lips, throat and palate, and the movement of the tongue, the sound of letters arises, but not relying on the throat, nor on the palate. Each individual factor cannot determine the letters. Relying on these aggregates, language can arise, although it is by the power of the mind's wisdom, but the mind and language are invisible, formless, and cannot be found inside or outside. The wise observe the arising and ceasing of language, sound, tone, etc., then they will see all language as an echo in a valley, momentary and without essence. For example, relying on wood and strings, plus the effort of the hand, the three together, musical instruments such as lutes and flutes, from them also sound will arise. Then some wise people observe, saying where did this come from, and where is it going? Observing in all directions and corners, one cannot determine the origin or destination of the sound. Thus, all assembled things that arise from causes and conditions arise in this way, the yogi who sees things as they are.

Seeing conditioned phenomena as empty and without movement, The aggregates, sense bases, and elements, Are empty inside and empty outside, All are devoid of self and without a place to dwell. The characteristic of Dharma is the very nature of space, Such characteristics of Dharma as these, You realized after seeing the lamp. Just as you yourself realized, Likewise, may you cause gods and humans to realize as well! Disturbed by harm that is not true, Beings are tormented by desire and hatred. From the clouds of compassion, the water of peace and coolness descends, Guiding the stream of nectar, may it be poured forth. Having attained the sacred Bodhi, Gather beings with the wealth of the noble ones, so it is said. For what reason, wise one, Did you give charity for many billions of kalpas? Remember your former conduct, Do not neglect to guide sentient beings who are inferior, poor, and suffering, Transforming their minds with the wealth of the noble ones. Gather them with the wealth of the noble ones. Cutting off the path to the lower realms, And showing the supreme gate to the nectar of higher realms, To many billions of sentient beings, so it is said. You always strictly observe moral discipline. With moral discipline, what is thought will be accomplished. Remember your former conduct, Cut off the gate to the earth of the three lower realms, And open the gate to the nectar of higher realms. Extinguishing the anger and the root of anger of all beings, and liberating sentient beings from the ocean of existence, Granting peace, happiness, and freedom from disease, so it is said. You always diligently cultivate patience. Remember your former conduct, For those who are disturbed by enemies, harmful thoughts, and violence, Without abandoning the practice of patience, Place these beings on the ground of patience. Having skillfully built the boat of Dharma, Liberating beings from the ocean of existence, Granting peace, happiness, and freedom from disease, so it is said. For what purpose did you rely on diligence? Remember your former conduct, Beings carried away by the four rivers, Helpless sentient beings, with the power of diligence, And the force of asceticism, quickly liberate them. From the confusion of the senses, the ordinary senses, And the mind like a monkey, I attain peace, so it is said. For what reason, guide, Dilig
