Whoever I may be, I will embrace those who believe in me. They are my friends, they are those who seek refuge in me. The Tathagata has many friends, and those friends of the Tathagata speak truthfully and do not lie. Therefore, the friends of the Tathagata also speak truthfully, entrusting these to the future Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas. Kungawo (Ananda), strive for faith! This is what I entrust to you. Monks, when a Bodhisattva is born, hundreds of thousands of countless daughters of the gods dwell in the sky, and they adorn the goddess Maya with heavenly flowers, incense, garlands, ointments, clothes, and ornaments, scattering them magnificently. Then, they will say this: Goodness, immaculate and pure, possessing golden light, possessing the light of the sun and moon. When sixty thousand daughters of the gods sing with beautiful voices, at that moment, they come to Lumbini and say to the goddess Maya: Please do not be displeased, please be extremely pleased, we are your servants. What can we do? What can we serve? What is needed? Please command! We are your capable servants with close hearts. Please generate feelings of joy and happiness, please abandon all displeasure. Today, the excellent physician who can eliminate aging and death, goddess, you will quickly give birth to him. How to enter, these flowers bloom, and flowers bloom on the ground. Thousands of gods are by your side, with hands folded. How the earth shakes, including the ocean, shaking in six ways. From you, the heavenly realm, the human realm, the sound spreads, and a prince who transcends the world will be born. How pure, adorned with light, possessing beautiful golden color.
