有六种。其中,为了如实通达各自的决定性词语而修习的六度是什么呢?为了言谈,什么是决定性词语的体性,那就是布施。为了寂静,什么是决定性词语,那就是戒律。对于世间的一切言语,什么是决定性词语,那就是忍辱。对于这一切,什么是使之理解,那就是精进。什么是使誓言得以解脱,那就是禅定。什么是解脱和止息,那就是智慧。这些就是为了如实通达各自的决定性词语而修习的六度。其中,为了如实通达各自的无畏而修习的六度是什么呢?什么是各种各样的无畏,那就是布施。什么是柔和的无畏,那就是戒律。什么是使这一切都满足,那就是忍辱。什么是不依附,那就是精进。什么是断除疑惑,那就是禅定。什么是趋向于涅槃,那就是智慧。这些就是为了如实通达各自的无畏而修习的六度。其中,什么是永不厌倦的六度呢?说法时,对于听法者宣说佛法而不厌倦,那就是布施。对于利益众生而不厌倦,那就是戒律。自身肢解,广大加持,那就是忍辱。为了调伏所化,在一切时节都临近显现的幻化,那就是精进。如所愿般入定,入定后给予教诲,那就是禅定。无论何时何地,对于听法者,随其所愿而宣说,那就是般若波罗蜜多。这些就是永不厌倦的六度。其中,什么是从布施中决定的六度呢?给予乞求者后,将安乐完全回向,那就是布施。以身语的殊胜布施而欢喜,

There are six. Among them, what are the six perfections practiced to truly understand the respective definitive words? For speech, what is the nature of the definitive word, that is generosity. For peace, what is the definitive word, that is discipline. For all worldly speech, what is the definitive word, that is patience. For all of these, what makes them understood, that is diligence. What liberates vows, that is meditation. What is liberation and cessation, that is wisdom. These are the six perfections practiced to truly understand the respective definitive words. Among them, what are the six perfections practiced to truly understand the respective fearlessnesses? What is various fearlessness, that is generosity. What is gentle fearlessness, that is discipline. What satisfies all of these, that is patience. What is non-attachment, that is diligence. What cuts off doubt, that is meditation. What inclines towards nirvana, that is wisdom. These are the six perfections practiced to truly understand the respective fearlessnesses. Among them, what are the six perfections of never being weary? When teaching the Dharma, not being weary of teaching the Dharma to the listeners, that is generosity. Not being weary of benefiting sentient beings, that is discipline. Dismembering oneself and greatly blessing, that is patience. For the sake of taming the tamable, the magical display that appears near at all times, that is diligence. Entering into samadhi as desired, and giving instructions after entering samadhi, that is meditation. At any time and place, speaking to the listeners as much as they desire, that is the perfection of wisdom. These are the six perfections of never being weary. Giving the gift of properly taking vows, and giving fearlessness to sentient beings, this is generosity. Giving fearlessness without conflict is discipline. Thinking of benefiting sentient beings is patience. Protecting all the precepts and subduing others is diligence. Prioritizing the precepts and thinking of benefiting sentient beings is meditation. Completely dedicating to enlightenment is wisdom. These are the six perfections that necessarily arise from discipline. What are the six perfections that necessarily arise from patience? Rejoicing when sentient beings are happy is generosity. Enduring the afflictions of sentient beings is discipline. Not being weary of birth from beginningless samsara is patience. Constantly and continuously striving diligently is diligence. Resolving to benefit sentient beings is meditation. Completely dedicating to omniscience is wisdom. 那么,从精进中必定产生的六度是什么呢?其中,从禅定中必定产生的六度是什么呢?以慈爱为主的禅定,凡是对众生有利益的就是布施的度。具有利益众生之念的禅定,就是持戒的度。心中喜悦于利益世间,就是忍辱的度。为了寂静而必定生起,就是精进的度。善思法布施后宣说,就是禅定的度。自性存在的决定之语,就是智慧的度。这些是从禅定中必定产生的六度。那么,从智慧中必定产生的六度是什么呢?凡是极力行法布施,就是布施的度。凡是无有杂染地说法布施,就是持戒的度。对于法布施没有厌倦,就是忍辱的度。以信心必定生起,就是精进的度。善思法布施后宣说,就是禅定的度。了知自性之如是性和决定之语,就是智慧的度。这些是从智慧中必定产生的六度。那么,异熟果之眼的六度是什么呢?凡是见到就欢喜的眼睛,就是布施的异熟果。凡是眼睛看起来悦意的,就是持戒的度。凡是能见远处的,就是忍辱的度。凡是眼睛修长的,就是精进的度。凡是看了就令人心悦诚服的,就是禅定的度。凡是完全令人心悦诚服的,就是智慧的度。这些是异熟果之眼的六度。那么,异熟果之耳的六度是什么呢?凡是耳朵没有损坏的,就是布施的度。凡是耳朵清净的,就是持戒的度。凡是耳根非常清澈的,就是忍辱的度。凡是耳朵能听到细微声音的,就是精进的度。

The meditation that is primarily loving-kindness, whatever is beneficial to sentient beings, that is the perfection of generosity. The meditation that has the thought of benefiting sentient beings, that is the perfection of discipline. Whatever is joyful in benefiting the world, that is the perfection of patience.
