Is diligence. In order to increase strength, what is understood after hearing is meditation. Like this, wherever I generate courage, you should also generate courage, what is taught like this is the ripening of prajna paramita. These are the six extensive perfections. So, what are the six perfections that arise from faith? Giving alms arising from faith, such as reciting mantras, obtaining benefits and respect, that is giving. Like this, for the Shakyas, deeds will not be in vain, what is taught like this is discipline. Like this, going to the auspicious hidden place, that is patience. Like this, taming insatiability, that is diligence. After attaining complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, not saying anything and abiding in meditation, and praying is meditation. Like this, relying on poisonous snakes and proclaiming the supreme vehicle, that is prajna paramita. These are the six perfections arising from faith. So, what are the six perfections that benefit others? For the sake of loving others, abandoning one's own happiness and giving away all possessions, that is the perfection of giving. Like this, Bodhisattva Padma Garbha said for the sake of the prison: May you be happy because of me! For your sake, even if I am beaten, it is okay. That is discipline. Like this, the grateful turtle knowingly saves the merchants, that is patience. Like this, the fish was eaten by ants but did not enter the water, that is diligence. For the sake of sentient beings, existence is unwavering, that is meditation. Examples arise from the sutra called Kuru, that is prajna paramita. These are the six perfections that benefit others. So, what are the other six perfections? Subduing after giving, that is giving. The rabbit said to the Brahmin: Eat me, live in the forest. That is discipline. Brahma in the form of a meat eater

That which leads sentient beings to happy migrations is patience. The diligence that necessarily arises before attaining enlightenment is diligence. The samadhi of the crown of the head and the three wisdoms is samadhi. Knowing the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha is the perfection of wisdom. These are the other six perfections. So, what are the six perfections of correct abandonment? What are the six perfections of not generating sins and non-virtues that have not yet arisen? By the power of individual examination, afflictions do not arise at all, this is the fruition of the perfection of generosity. Contemplating the unpleasantness of the fruition of non-virtue is discipline. Understanding the nature of non-virtue is patience. Contemplating non-arising is diligence. Further causing others to take it correctly is samadhi. Sins and non-virtues never arise, this is wisdom. These are the six perfections of not generating sins and non-virtues that have not yet arisen. So, what are the six perfections of abandoning those that have arisen? Seeing the faults of afflictions that have arisen and abandoning them is the fruition of the perfection of generosity. The aspiration for this is discipline. Abandoning it and being without burning is patience. Knowing afflictions and subduing afflictions with knowledge is diligence. What is contemplated and examined is samadhi. Knowing abandonment and non-arising is wisdom. These are the six perfections of abandoning those that have arisen. So, what are the six perfections for generating virtues that have not yet arisen? Having desire for virtue and being without delusion is the fruition of the perfection of generosity. Rejoicing in obtaining virtue is discipline. Contemplating virtue in the form of emptiness is patience. Body and mind with strength

That which is without contamination is diligence. That which is the attainment and the holding without characteristics, without forgetting, is meditation. That which does not arise as the cause of attainment is the complete maturation of the perfection of wisdom. These are the six perfections for generating ungenerated virtues. Furthermore, what are the six perfections for causing generated virtuous dharmas to increase and abide? That which does not waste generated virtues is the complete maturation of the perfection of generosity. That which is exceedingly joyful towards them is discipline. That which arises definitively from dwelling in application is patience. That which is completely guarded and completely unconfused is diligence. That which possesses the power of meditation is meditation. That which follows after all dedications is wisdom. These are the six perfections for causing generated virtuous dharmas to increase and abide. Furthermore, what are the six perfections of the miraculous foot? Furthermore, what are the six perfections of the miraculous foot that possess abandonment of desire? That which has no obstruction to the arising of that desire is generosity. That which does not abandon that desire is discipline. That which proclaims that desire is patience. That which holds the definitive arising of desire is diligence. That which is investigation is meditation. That which definitively attains that desire is wisdom. These are the six perfections of the miraculous foot that possess abandonment of desire. Furthermore, what are the six perfections of the miraculous foot that abandon diligence? That which is diligence attained by not speaking is generosity. That which touches diligence is discipline. That which is pleasing diligence is patience. That which strives to attain and definitively arises is diligence. That which is content with definiteness is meditation. That which follows after all dedications
