Perfect in form, with breasts bulging like golden vases, lips like lotuses, and a form like lightning emerging from clouds, along with the great immeasurable palace, and the land made beautiful by the growth, sprouting, and branching of trees. The sixty thousand graceful women cheered for the lord. In the heavenly realm, the sounds of lutes, flutes, pottery drums, cymbals, and songs arose, and there I saw a lion throne adorned with heavenly cushions. Seeing this, like a prince bound by many silks and being crowned from the crown of his head, he ascended the lion throne and sat down. As he remained there, a pleasing sound always arose, and the music of the gods resounded. From all directions, such sounds were heard: 'This is a sentient being approaching merit, who has passed away from Jambudvipa and is completely possessed by merit, having been born in this heavenly realm. Let us go to him! Let us stay close and enjoy happiness! Let us play with music and dance!' they proclaimed. He enjoyed happiness with the sixty thousand women, all of whom held flowers in their hands, had extremely fragrant appearances, wore upper garments made of Dukula bones, wore precious ornaments, and had melodious anklets. Their faces were like lotuses, adorned with crescent moons. They were full and intoxicated with honey, sweet wine, and flower wine, and embraced each other, all saying, 'We will all serve as servants and offer service and respect to this lord. May you always enjoy the fragrant and blissful heavenly desires of the heavenly world attained through the power of merit from here.' The great sage, that son of the gods, and those daughters of the gods together, in the pleasure garden, the mixed garden, the stone slabs like Armonik, various transformations, waterfalls, Sensenpo, places full of flowers, and the land full of trees, and other excellent pleasure gardens, enjoyed supreme bliss and coolness, without harmful winds, adorned with the beautiful sounds of the heavenly birds called 'sky-goers,' the heavenly...

Everywhere filled with flowers, fruits, and fragrances, with lamps made of various kinds of lapis lazuli, jewels, conch shells, and stone essences. Bees and plump cuckoos, emitting pleasant bird sounds. Peacocks with golden tips on their wings. Adorned with jewels and precious dots, appearing radiant and splendid. With high and long noses, from the beaks of lapis lazuli, various harmonious and pleasant sounds resonate. In the area adorned with scattered and arranged flowers, these sons of gods, satisfied with desires, continuously enjoy and abide. In that abode of the thirty-three gods (Trāyastriṃśa), there are deep pools with the four qualities. The water is neither too cold nor too hot, pleasing, the water is pure, with blooming hundred-petaled lotuses, beautified with rows of trees. In those pools with flowers scattered and pleasing water, hundreds and thousands of goddesses surround, enjoying playing in the water and abiding in happiness. In those great hermitages, near their pleasure gardens and forests, containers adorned with various kinds of dots manifestly appear. When those sons of gods desire those containers, foods like kunda flowers, lotuses, like snow, and silver-colored foods manifestly appear. Great hermit, when eating from a single precious container, the morsel taken by some becomes like the color of jewels. The morsel taken by some becomes yellow, blue, and white. Likewise, those foods that are uniform in color, radiant, excellent, and singular, arise differently from those precious containers. This is seen as the maturation of their giving and proximity to afflictions. Those actions of giving before and regretting later cause the food to become ugly in color. Those actions of giving before and later generating compassion and joy with a loving heart cause the food to appear beautiful in color, like jewels. Great hermit, you should know that the maturation of the results of actions is like that.
