That is, what are the ten aspects? They are: the three actions of the body are completely pure; the four actions of speech are completely pure; the three actions of mind are completely pure; being free from deceit and having an honest and unpretentious mind; not contradicting all the trainings; preceding beneficial things and dwelling accordingly; being gentle and not having a wild mind because of having a sense of shame; being the master of oneself and becoming the teacher of all sentient beings; being without arrogance and bowing and prostrating to all objects of generosity; making the lord of life the Dharma, and not making worldly distractions the priority. These are the ten aspects. Son of the lineage, furthermore, the conduct of the perfection of discipline of the Bodhisattvas is completely pure in two ways. What are the two ways? They are: the discipline with characteristics and with effort, which is not abandoned even for the sake of life; and the discipline without characteristics and spontaneously accomplished, which is to learn without adding or subtracting from all dharmas. These are the two ways. Son of the lineage, furthermore, the conduct of the perfection of discipline of the Bodhisattva is completely pure in two ways. What are the two ways? They are: the inner is completely pure, so the sense faculties are completely pure; and the outer is completely pure, so all objects are abandoned. Son of the lineage, furthermore, the conduct of the perfection of discipline of the Bodhisattva is completely pure in two ways. What are the two ways? They are: completely turning towards enlightenment with the characteristic of the nature of enlightenment; and because there is no manifest action, it is the characteristic of the purity of discipline. These two are it. Son of the lineage, this is the completely pure conduct of the perfection of discipline of the Bodhisattva. Son of the lineage, what is the completely pure conduct of the perfection of patience of the Bodhisattva? Son of the lineage, this Bodhisattva is pure and completely pure. Thus, even if scolded, he does not scold back. Because the body is completely pure, even if beaten, he does not beat back. Because the mind is completely pure, even if angered, he does not become angry back. Because the higher intention is completely pure, even if harmed, he does not harm back.

Son of lineage, furthermore, the Bodhisattva, in order to view sentient beings, even if he hears others speaking ill or uttering words of abuse, does not become angry. In order to view the world beyond, even if struck by hands, fists, or sticks, he does not become wrathful. In order to universally protect Bodhi, even if limbs are severed, he does not become angry. Son of lineage, furthermore, the Bodhisattva, in order to fully embrace the objects of gathering, does not become angry at beggars. In order to be firmly established near the path of Bodhi, he closely cultivates love towards them. In order to fulfill aspirations, he generates compassion towards them. In order to abandon the works of demons and all afflictions, whatever is begged, he thinks of benefiting them and, possessing compassion, certainly gives it as a limb of Bodhi. Son of lineage, furthermore, the Bodhisattva, in order to perfect the Buddha's body, remembers the Buddha and endures. In order to perfect the ten powers, he remembers Bodhi and endures. In order to perfect the vision of wisdom unattached to the three times, he remembers wisdom and endures. In order to perfect great love, he remembers the desire for benefit and endures. In order to perfect great compassion, he remembers the subduer who possesses fruition and endures. In order to perfect fearlessness, he remembers the lion's roar and endures. In order to pay homage to all sentient beings, he remembers the invisible crown of the head and endures. In order not to be overcome by all the world, he remembers the excellent marks and signs and endures. In order to experience the wisdom of omniscience, he remembers the perfection of all the Buddha's teachings and endures. Son of lineage, the Bodhisattva's endurance is completely purified by two powers. What are the two? They are the power of discriminating thought and the power of meditation. Among them, that which abides in body and mind and endures is the power of discriminating thought. That which abides in all dharmas and endures is the power of meditation. Son of lineage.
