Endowed with equality, possessing the magical abilities of the Buddha, endowed with distinct and correct knowledge, truly upheld by the power of the ten strengths, abiding in the four fearlessnesses, conforming to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, unmixed with the vehicles of hearers and solitary realizers, eliminating the afflictions that connect habitual tendencies, inseparable from the wisdom of manifest knowledge, having become the teacher of all sentient beings, having obtained the four teachers, having obtained the equality of worldly and transworldly dharmas, not despising because of completely maturing all sentient beings, skilled in guiding, dispelling the suffering of all sentient beings, purifying all afflictions, delivering from the river, severing all attachments, naturally pacified, pacified by karma and all afflictions, equanimous by nature, seeing all the Buddha's dharmas, in terms of its own nature, there is no liberation for the sake of blessing the physical body, spontaneously prophesied, constantly diligent in the Buddha's activities, cooled by pacification, constantly blazing in the activity of completely maturing sentient beings, this is called the emptiness that possesses all kinds of excellence. Son of good family, for example, taking a complete examination, in the three-thousand great-thousand world realms, all the sentient beings who have learned various crafts of painters, having learned different divisions of limbs, among them some are skilled in dividing land, but not skilled in asking questions, some are skilled in determining, but not skilled in limbs and sub-limbs, some are skilled in asking about hands and feet, but not skilled in asking about eyes, head, and ears. Son of good family, thus having learned different kinds, having learned different divisions of limbs, to all those painters who have learned different forms, the king, a kshatriya lineage, having been empowered from the crown of his head, gave a piece of cloth, saying: "You all draw my image on this cloth, all of you draw on this." Then those painters gathered together and stretched out the cloth, and from among those painters, one painter went to another place.

I became the intermediary. Then, if later painters were to paint the image of the king on it, what do you think, son of good family? If it were not taken into the hands of that single painter, would that cloth become endowed with all the most excellent qualities? They replied: Blessed One, it would not. The Blessed One said: Son of good family, thus, in order to fully understand the meaning, take this as an example. What is the meaning of this? Son of good family, just as without that single painter, that cloth would not become endowed with all the most excellent qualities, so too, son of good family, no matter how many aspects, how many practices, how much diligence there is, those aspects by which the Buddhadharma is completely accomplished, if even one aspect is not shown, it is not emptiness endowed with all the most excellent qualities. When all the aspects of the Buddhadharma are correctly gathered and do not coexist with views, the arising of afflictions, and all the elaborations that focus on signs, that is the emptiness of the Bodhisattva endowed with all the most excellent qualities. When this teaching was definitively explained, eight thousand Bodhisattvas obtained the utmost tolerance for emptiness endowed with all the most excellent qualities. Son of good family, this is the Bodhisattva's meditation, the practice of the perfection of, completely pure. Son of good family, what is the completely pure practice of the Bodhisattva's perfection of wisdom? Son of good family, here, the Bodhisattva possesses twelve aspects of completely pure wisdom. What are the twelve aspects? Like this: Even for the past extreme, his wisdom and knowledge, seeing, enter without attachment or obstruction; even for the future extreme, his wisdom and knowledge, seeing, enter without attachment or obstruction; even for what is happening now, his wisdom and knowledge, seeing, enter without attachment or obstruction; even for conditioned phenomena, his wisdom and knowledge, seeing, enter without attachment or obstruction; even for unconditioned phenomena, his wisdom and knowledge, seeing, enter without attachment or obstruction; even for the worldly crafts and activities.
