Now these are equally abiding. Likewise, the Bodhisattva with a pure mind also constantly engages separately with sentient beings. O Intelligence, for example, poison that is completely controlled by mantras and medicine cannot cause death. O Intelligence, similarly, the poison of afflictions of a Bodhisattva who is completely controlled by wisdom and skillful means cannot cause him to fall. Therefore, it should be said: For example, poison that is completely controlled by mantras cannot harm people. Similarly, a Bodhisattva with wisdom cannot be made to fall by afflictions. O Intelligence, for example, the sewage of great cities is beneficial to sugarcane fields and vineyards. O Intelligence, similarly, the afflicted body of a Bodhisattva is also beneficial to omniscience itself. Therefore, it should be said: For example, the impure sewage of cities is beneficial to sugarcane fields. Similarly, the afflicted sewage of a Bodhisattva is beneficial to the Dharma of the Victorious Ones. O Intelligence, for example, learning the use of weapons without learning archery, similarly, a Bodhisattva observes the wisdom of thoroughly distinguishing, contemplating, and grasping the meaning of the holy Dharma from little learning. O Intelligence, for example, for unbaked vessels, the potter needs to apply a great fire. O Intelligence, similarly, for sentient beings whose wisdom has not yet matured, the Bodhisattva also needs to apply the great fire of the Buddha's Dharma. O Intelligence, Therefore, those who wish to learn this category of the Bodhisattva's Great Collection of Jewels Dharma should diligently practice the Dharma properly. O Intelligence, what is the Bodhisattva's proper and diligent practice of the Dharma? It is to accurately and individually understand the Middle Way Dharma. O Intelligence, what is the accurate and individual understanding of the Middle Way Dharma? O Intelligence, it is to individually understand the absence of self, the absence of sentient beings, the absence of life, the absence of a nourisher, the absence of a person, and the absence of an individual.

Not born from power, and separately discerning without a son of power. O Sustainer, this is called truly and separately discerning the Dharma of the Middle Way. O Sustainer, furthermore, truly and separately discerning the Dharma of the Middle Way is not separately discerning form as permanent, nor separately discerning it as impermanent.
