Do not. Do not become angry, because you know that form is empty in nature, do not become arrogant, and do not harm. Similarly, when the ear hears a sound, the nose smells an odor, the tongue tastes a flavor, the body touches a tangible object, and the mind knows a dharma, do not grasp at signs. Do not grasp at manifest signs. Do not discriminate. Do not make various discriminations. Do not become attached to them. Do not become angry, because you know that the nature of dharmas is empty, do not become arrogant. Do not speak. Son of the gods, in this way, do not be attached to these six sense bases. Do not speak, because what is not speaking is called patience. Son of the gods, a Bodhisattva who has attained patience does not discriminate whether dharmas arise or do not arise. He does not discriminate whether dharmas are with outflows or without outflows, with faults or without faults, conditioned or unconditioned. When he does not discriminate, that is called the patience with the non-arising of dharmas. When this teaching was taught, sixty-two thousand beings generated the mind of unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Twelve thousand Bodhisattvas attained patience with the non-arising of dharmas. Then, the son of the gods, Blo Gros Rab Gnas, said to the youthful Manjushri: Manjushri, from ground to ground is called ascending the ground, how does a Bodhisattva ascend from ground to ground? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, ask what causes the ascent from ground to ground. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, does the Bodhisattva ascend from ground to ground and not suppress up to the tenth ground? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, do you not believe that the Blessed One said that all dharmas are like illusions? The son of the gods said: Manjushri, I believe. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, can illusions and emanations ascend from ground to ground and suppress up to the tenth ground? The son of the gods said: Manjushri, no. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, when illusions and emanations can ascend from ground to ground, then I too will be able to ascend from ground to ground. Why is that? The Blessed

Because the departed one said that all dharmas are like illusions and apparitions. Son of the gods, although it is so, the showing of ascending from ground to ground should be understood as without ascending, and not as actual ascending. Why is that? Because all dharmas are immutable, dharmas do not change into dharmas, that is, form does not change into feeling, nor does feeling change into form. Form does not change into perception, nor does perception change into form. Form does not change into formations, nor do formations change into form. Form does not change into consciousness, nor does consciousness change into form. Feeling does not change into perception, nor does perception change into feeling. Feeling does not change into formations, nor do formations change into feeling. Feeling does not change into consciousness, nor does consciousness change into feeling. Perception does not change into formations, perception does not change into consciousness, nor does consciousness change into perception. Formations do not change into consciousness, nor does consciousness change into formations. The eye does not change into the ear. Nor does the ear change into the eye. The ear does not change into the nose, nor does the nose change into the ear. The nose does not change into the eye, the eye does not change into the tongue. The tongue does not change into the eye, the eye does not change into the body. The body does not change into the eye, the eye does not change into the mind. The mind does not change into the eye, the ear does not change into the nose. The nose does not change into the ear, the ear does not change into the tongue. The tongue does not change into the ear, the ear does not change into the body. The body does not change into the ear, the ear does not change into the mind. The mind does not change into the ear, the nose does not change into the tongue. The tongue does not change into the nose, the nose does not change into the body. The body does not change into the nose, the nose does not change into the mind. The mind does not change into the nose, the tongue does not change into the body. The body does not change into the tongue, the tongue does not change into the mind. The mind does not change into the tongue, the body does not change into the mind. The mind does not change into the body, and these dharmas are of different realms of activity, different places, foolish, insentient, without mind, unmoving, without action, appearing like grass and walls, without discrimination like illusions, without characteristics and with a single characteristic, therefore they do not change, do not come, do not go. Son of the gods, bodhi
