Unbearable. I also remember the misdeeds I have done. In previous lives, Having killed parents and objects of offering, Having killed arhats, I have committed extremely unbearable misdeeds. By the ripening of those misdeeds, Experiencing the feeling of suffering, The arising of regret Is purified by hearing the Dharma. The one with great fame, the remover of thorns, Has eliminated our regrets. In whom there are no afflictions, The Dharmadhatu is realized accordingly. Skilled in all Buddhas, The capable one possesses skillful wisdom. With that skill, all sentient beings' Regrets are completely removed. Since all dharmas are empty in nature, Here there is no Buddha, Dharma, or Sangha to be seen. Here, There are no parents and no Arhats. Here there is no killer, And there is no one being killed. Equality arises just as it is, That is the nature of all dharmas. Manjushri, the great in wisdom, With the paramita of all dharmas, Holding a sharp weapon in his hand, Rushes to where the Buddhas reside. Just as the Buddha is pierced by the arrow, Both of them are of the same nature. There is no birth and no arising, Here there is no killing. When this category of Dharma of holding weapons was spoken, the Buddhafields of the ten directions, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, shook in six ways, and the great earth also shook, and this also appeared in the world. Then, in those Buddhafields of the ten directions, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who dwell, live, and exist, were asked by their respective attendants: "Bhagavan, what is the cause of this great earthquake, and whose power is it that this has appeared in the world?" The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, replied: "Sons of good family, there is a world called the Sahā world. There, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni is teaching the Dharma. In that Sahā world, there is a Bodhisattva named Manjushri, the youthful one, who is irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment. Thus, for the sake of taming other Bodhisattvas, with wisdom.

Holding a sharp sword, he chased after the Blessed One, the Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha, to that place. Then, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, beginning with the sword of wisdom, taught the Dharma in such a way that countless sentient beings would have pure eyes, liberated minds, generate patience, and enter into enlightenment. Then, the Blessed One blessed it in such a way that those beginners, with small roots of virtue and without conceptualization, who were seated in that assembly, would not see the sword and would not hear the Dharma being taught. Then, the Venerable Shariputra said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, where will the unpleasant karma of betrayal that you have manifestly accumulated for killing the teacher ripen for you? Manjushri said: Venerable Shariputra, it is just so. Just as it is said, if I have done such an unpleasant deed, I do not know where it will ripen. Venerable Shariputra, although that is so, where the karma of a magical being ripens, there also my karma will ripen. Why is that? Venerable Shariputra, because a magical being is also without thought and without conceptualization, and all dharmas are also without thought and without conceptualization. Venerable Shariputra, in this way, ask the Venerable One himself. Please show how you endure. Venerable One, is the sword an object of focus? Shariputra said: Manjushri, it is not so. Manjushri said: Venerable One, is karma an object of focus? Shariputra said: Manjushri, it is not so. Manjushri said: Venerable One, is ripening an object of focus? Shariputra said: Manjushri, it is not so. Manjushri said: Venerable Shariputra, if there is no sword, no karma, and no ripening, then where will the karma ripen? Shariputra said: Manjushri, according to what is taught by your thought, then the karma will not ripen anywhere. Why is that? Because all dharmas are without karma.

Because there is no maturation. Then, the Bodhisattvas who had gathered from the ten directions of the world requested the Blessed One: Blessed One, please make it so that Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta will go to our Buddha-fields and teach the Dharma in those Buddha-fields. Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta said to those Bodhisattvas: Sons of good family, look at your own Buddha-fields. Then, those Bodhisattvas looked at their own Buddha-fields in all ten directions. When they looked, they also heard the sweet voice of Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta from those Buddha-fields in all ten directions. Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta was sitting before those Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, teaching the Dharma in order to inquire about this very teaching called the Abode of Wisdom of the Son of the Gods, and they also saw that so many Bodhisattvas were assembled there, and so many sons of the gods were assembled. Having seen this, they thought to themselves: It is wonderful that Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta does not move from this Buddha-field, yet appears everywhere! Thinking it wonderful, they became filled with wonder. Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta said to those Bodhisattvas: Sons of good family, it is like this: for example, a magician, because he is very skilled in magic, can move from his seat and also show various kinds of forms. Similarly, a Bodhisattva who is well-trained in the Perfection of Wisdom can emanate as many emanations as he wishes to appear in as many Buddha-fields for phenomena that are like illusions. Why is that? It is because he knows this Dharma to be like an illusion. Then, the Blessed One said to Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta: Mañjuśrī, hearing this teaching is like the appearance of a Buddha. Hearing this teaching is like the fruit of entering the stream. Hearing this teaching is like once-
