, clinging to life, and clinging to individuals, if they cling, they will want to hear. Son of the gods, whoever has self-grasping and grasping of "mine," thinks, "This is the one who teaches, I am the one who listens, this is what should be said." Thinking this way, they are bound by three attachments. What are the three? Attachment to self, attachment to sentient beings, and attachment to dharma. Son of the gods, whoever does not have self-grasping and grasping of "mine" teaches the Dharma with the three circles completely purified, without discriminating, without thinking, without being arrogant. What is the complete purification of the three circles? Not clinging to self, not discriminating, not being arrogant, not thinking; not clinging to the speaker of the Dharma, not discriminating, not being arrogant, not thinking; not clinging to the Dharma, not discriminating, not being arrogant, not thinking. Son of the gods, those who listen in this way listen equally, not unequally. Son of the gods, the one with excellent wisdom said: Manjushri, in any case, for the sake of non-reversal, it is good, good to explain the teachings! Manjushri said: Son of the gods, in any case, do not discriminate. The Bodhisattva who reverses does so in order to manifest enlightenment, but enlightenment is also without object. Son of the gods asked: Manjushri, from what does one reverse? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, one reverses from desire, one reverses from hatred, one reverses from ignorance, one reverses from craving, one reverses from ignorance, one reverses from the middle of the twelve branches of arising in samsara, one reverses from cause, one reverses from view, one reverses from name, one reverses from form, one reverses from the desire realm, one reverses from the form realm, one reverses from the formless realm, one reverses from the conduct of the Shravakas, one reverses from the conduct of the Pratyekabuddhas, one reverses from discrimination, one reverses from clinging, one reverses from signs, one reverses from clinging to reality, one reverses from the view of annihilation, one reverses from the view of permanence, one reverses from taking, one reverses from abandoning, one reverses from the perception of self, sentient beings.

One is liberated from the concept of self. One is liberated from the concept of life. One is liberated from the concept of person. One is liberated from attention. One is liberated from all attachments. One is liberated from perversions. One is liberated from the view of the aggregation of destruction. One is liberated from the view of the aggregation of destruction. One is liberated from the sixty-two types of views arising from the root of the aggregation of destruction. One is liberated from all obscurations. One is liberated from clinging to the five aggregates. One is liberated from all internal and external sources. One is liberated from the elements. One is liberated from the concept of considering oneself as a Buddha. One is liberated from the concept of considering oneself as the Dharma. One is liberated from the concept of considering oneself as the Sangha. I will become a Buddha. I will teach the Dharma. I will liberate sentient beings. I will subdue demons. I will attain wisdom. One is liberated from the thought of attaining these. One does not contemplate the ten powers of the Tathagata. One does not contemplate the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. One does not contemplate the faculties, powers, and fearlessnesses. One does not contemplate the marks. One does not contemplate the array of Buddha-fields. One does not contemplate the perfection of the Shravaka Sangha, and is liberated from all contemplation. Son of the gods, thus, whatever Bodhisattva is liberated from these is non-liberation. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, from what is there no liberation? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, there is no liberation from the wisdom of the Buddha. There is no liberation from emptiness. There is no liberation from signlessness. There is no liberation from wishlessness. There is no liberation from suchness. There is no liberation from the realm of Dharma. There is no liberation from the ultimate reality. There is no liberation from equality. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, as it is said, the Bodhisattva is liberated from the phenomena of thought, discrimination, and various discriminations, therefore it is called liberation, so from which liberated phenomena do they exist? Or do they not exist? Or do they both exist and not exist? Or are they neither existent nor non-existent? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, those phenomena from which one is liberated are neither existent nor non-existent.
